These two cute puppies were dumped in Ganado. They were saved from an uncertain end. These cuties are about 10 weeks old. One big one girl. We are looking for someone to help foster so we can save them Please help us

Meet Lulu. Recently surrendered approximately 25 lbs. Affectionate good with other dogs large and small. We have so many dogs. Thinking she is terrier, chi maybe some Dachsund. She was picked up in a Walmart parking lot as some people were giving away puppies. She made her way to Sheridan area and now she is looking for a family. She is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative and about 8 months old.

Meet Jack. He was found in Shiner area. He is young between 1 and 2. Neutered. 40 lb range. Jack is easy going with people and other dogs. Neutered and up to date on Rabies vaccine, Botdatella, distemper parvo combo
Heartworm negative.

Female hound mix estimated 7. Looks like she has had litter after litter. Finder helped her out from a group of teens in Eagle lake trying to do harm to her. We are full but we took her in. Very friendly but skinny. We need help for dog food

Meet Neeko. A youngster Golden doodle mix. Neeko lived as an apartment dweller and was crated a lot. He is large dog so we are looking for a home with no little kids. Neeko is very outgoing with a friendly disposition. He loves to get his morning and evening runs with his companion Ivy. We are working on his house training and learning his cues. He loves to play the retrieve a stick game. We are looking for a home whose people have time for him. He rides in the car well and loves rides in the Kawasaki. He does not see. To be a shedder and we just gave him a summer cut.

Ivy is still waiting for her family. She now has good recall on her and is house trained. She is a toy hog and a consummate toy box shopper. She is a year old and spayed. She is going to start in the 30 pound range. She loves a good run in the morning and evening

Meet Paddy. He came to us on St Patrick’s Day. He was found in Houston and kept in a bathroom. The finders did not want to let him get neutered or vaccinated. Paddy is neutered now and vaccinated . He is heartworm negative. He has a great disposition really enjoys people. Gets along with other dogs. He enjoys walks. Likes red barn natural hooves. He is looking for a home with no cats. He enjoys couch lounging.

This morning a call from a person desperate to rehome two of his dogs who kill chickens and a goat and a cat. Fence jumpers as well. He has called nearly 40 rescues. He will put them down himself if he can’t find a place. We have chickens and goats and cats here and no empty kennels for these two dogs. Not the way I wanted to start Monday out

Of the numerous calls....and I mean numerous... the callers tell us they call the county they live in...Bosque county for example where our foster lives... the communication is ...."I called the Sheriffs office to tell them a dog wandered up to my property.....the callers are told...well its your dog now...if you dont want it...shoot it. Really. Of course I have had the same calls here in Colorado County., Lavaca County...etc, etc. IT IS TIME TO DO BETTER. IT IS TIME TO PENALIZE PEOPLE FOR DUMPING DOGS, NOT SPAYING THEIR DOGS. ABUSING THEIR DOGS........ THE SHELTERS ARE FULL, RESCUES ARE FULL. Last but not least I am tired of being screamed at for not performing as fast as the caller wants.

This Is Ivy. She has acclimated to her new surroundings. Last month she was tied up to a tree during the heavy rains and forced to stand in water for several days before being untied. She is a Black mouth Cur mix. House training is moving along nicely. Great demeanor. Gets along with cats and other dogs she is estimated to be 8 months old . Spayed and vaccinated. UPDATE
Probably her first bath. Covered in fleas

This little female was tied to a tree for three days during the rain storms of this past week. She stood in pooled water for those three days. She is no longer subject to the cruelty dispensed by previous owners. Sadly five puppies still running loose on the street in front of their property. She is just a puppy herself.
