I have had several inquiries on shipping/breeding outside mares again and I am CONSIDERING it... I have just said no past 4 years as I don't want to deal with it because I just can't now days with working more. And 8 years standing to public full was a lot of PITA lol. But in thinking about things, and understanding there are people that truly want a Buckwheat foal I am considering offering to ship to a few, only if we can work together in scheduling and planning... mares' cycle will have to be planned with hormones for a specific ship date, it will be a straight forward simple agreement and fees. Collection fee will be due prior to of 200 and includes container no need to return, 1 to 2 doses depending on availability, FedEx or UPS real charges by just providing us with your account to use. If your mare is pregnant at 30 days you pay a stud fee of 800 due by 45 days. If mare is not pregnant no additional fees due. There will be no LFG and no rebreeds in contract. However if I can reship with my schedule, I will, but I won't guarantee anything up front. The mare will have to be cycled according to a schedule and we can work out dates ahead of time preferably to be shipping on a Mon or Fri. My protocol we use all the time at work generally works out well timing mares (but of course nothing is fool proof but in the majority mares it is). Start regumate on a Thur or Mon for 14 days, PG shot day 15, check mare 3 days post PG, ship 4th day post PG and give ov hormone (which will be a Mon or Fri), receive/breed 5th day post PG. If you are wanting a Buckwheat foal this is a plan!!! In keeping up with genetic disease testing developments we have had all our horses tesed for IMM/MYH1 and all are N/N so all babies produced by our stallion and mares are as well.
I encourage all breeders to continuously keep up on testing breeding stock as more disorders become known and able to test for because as we know better we should do better.

Monday collection on a Thursday, no change of cooling packs, in and Equine ExpressII disposable, left outside entire time. This is what you call hardy semen! PS I sound weird because I'm trying to hold phone, record, move slide, focus, and talk all at the same time...lol

This colt is so handsome, big, and very balanced and correct. 11 weeks old. Finally shedding the foal fuz to his real coat which is a gorgeous deep rich dun with her black legs and he's flashy with that big white blaze. Hoping someone special gets him, he is NICE! Want to talk hearty semen....82.5 hours old, no cooling pack change and cool pack and semen compare to pack on counter and felt same as room temp, put drop on slide in warmer for less than 1 min, put under scope...SWIMMERS! He's always 75+ at collection and hold geat. This is what you want in a stallion!
