Entries are open for the Come Again Farm Fall Harvest Mini Trials, CT, and day Before the HT Derby October 12/13.

The Saturday Derby is a fun run around a mix of Show Jumps and cross country Jumps and scores on closest to optimum speed & faults. It can be entered in conjunction with the mini trials or stand alone.

Sunday’s Mini Trials offers full HT from step over to training, with Combined Tests offered from Step Over to Prelim.

All courses will be appropriate to the level, though combinations will be a little softer than you’d fine at a recognized show.

We have water, ditches, and banks.

Debbie Boeh will be judging, so a judge you’ll ride for at many recognized shows in the area.

We will have an open schooling day on August 24th. This would be a great opportunity to get a schooling day in before the AEC's or your fall events.
The video is only the derby field, but you can get an idea of the variety of jumps available.
We have over 80 portable jumps from step over size to Prelim, water, several banks, multiple ditches. We have added 7 new jumps this year and revamped all the jumps on the farm. I set things up so there are related schooling exercises.
Due to parking constraints and crowding, I limit schooling to groups of 12. This is first come, first serve, and payment is due when reserving your spot or it will not be included.
Entries for this will close on August 18th or when full, whichever comes first.
Please reply to this post what time slot you'd like to have, and a second choice if need be.
Payment can be made via paypal Yodarider @ AOL.com or Venmo on my name. If you wish to do either on the farm name please add $1.20 to cover the additional expense.
Schooling must be done with a coach or a partner, no schooling alone.
Properly secured headgear and safety vests are required.
Please leave your dogs at home for the day.
Schooling is $40/horse/rider

Need to get some good experience for Eventing? We are having a mini trials, derby and CT at Come Again Farm June 15/16 (15, Saturday derby, 16th, Sunday Mini Trial and CT).

We have great jumps, proper courses (size wise, distances) for the level from step over to P/Training, but straightforward on the tracks. It's a great place to practice a move up, if you are so inclined.

Hey all,

As all of my horse friends know, I am actively involved in eventing, especially in Indiana.

In 1987 we had a little party called the Pan Am games, and built the Hoosier Horse Park as a venue for Equine sports.

Since that time local clubs have had the benefit of the park, and the Indiana Eventing Association (nee Indiana Combined Training Assocation) was created by the eventers in Indiana that wanted to have a permanent place to have horse trials.

We have created a wonderful cross country course for all to experience and enjoy—thanks to the many volunteers that have participated in work days, fund raising, working the horse shows, and a myriad of other ways.

That said, IEA horse trials has grown over the years and now offers 3 Classic Horse Trials, and 7 levels of Horse Trials (Starter through Prelim). There is no other horse trials in the Midwest that offers as much as IEA does.

We can’t do it without volunteers. Lots of volunteers…

Currently we need a ton of fence judge and gate stewards for Saturday, June 2nd.

Please, please, consider coming for the day and giving back to the sport.

**update**

We got a lot more rain last night; I am not going to cancel but I am going to offer a couple of reschedule dates:

May 28th between 10 and 6.

June 1st 10-5
June 2nd 10-5

June 8th 10-5

Other times might be available by appointment. having an open schooling day here at Come Again Farm on May 27th.

Since parking gets tight I schedule time periods, first come first serve. A spot is not held without payment.

I have 70+ portables from step over to prelim, water, banks, and ditches. Jon Wells has just been here and we have 6 new fences and he repaired everything that needed repairs; there are lots of things to jump.

****Rules:****
Properly secured helmets and vests required.

No schooling alone, must have a buddy or a coach.

Be thoughtful to your horse and the property—don’t try to jump things you’re not ready for.

Park thoughtfully and take your p**p home with you.

No smoking.

Please leave your dogs at home.

Send me your time request, on this thread, along with a second choice. Send the $35 via paypal (yodarider @ aol. Com) (friends and family or you will owe an additional fee to cover their cut).

I’ve extended the closing date on the 5/11 show through Saturday, 5/4 as the entry one the website is now working properly.

Paper entries have to be in hand by then (otherwise the schedule goes out way too late).

Also, the dressage test for Starter is the Starter Test, not BN A.

Thanks everyone! The new system had some growing pains but will be pretty handy going forward.

Couple of electric hookups for campers and plenty of parking.
