GHRA is pleased to announced that we will be having evaluations at the Gypsy Iowa Classic in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on October 23rd. The evaluator will be Chris Shackleton who is a carded GHRA judge. Chris was a Judge and Grader for CHAPS (Coloured Horse & Pony Society) and The Gypsy Cob Registry in England prior to moving to the US in 2019.

$100.00 for your first horse and $90.00 for each additional horse.

Our congratulations goes out to Meco Schulte who was high point driver at this past weekend's Festival of Gypsies show! Meco was awarded an Ideal Eurotech Classic harness courtesy of the Gypsy Horse Registry of America and A-Z Horse Driving.

Come one, come all to the 2021 Gypsy Horse Registry of America Open House! With awesome door prizes, pizza, drinks and a meet and greet with some of our board members, it's sure to be a good time. This year's fun open house will be conveniently located at the incredible Gypsy Iowa Classic Horse Show! This awesome show includes green horse classes and KIDS SHOW FREE!!! The show dates are October 23-24, 2021 and the venue is the Iowa Equestrian Center in Cedar Rapids, IA.
The Open House is on Saturday the 23rd from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. We will have a short informational talk about Gypsy Horse conformation and type by Katie Barker. Also on Saturday the 23rd, we will have EVALUATIONS from 8am - 12pm and from 1pm - 5pm on a "first come, first served" basis in the outdoor arena. The evaluations are $100 for the first horse and $90 for each additional horse. Please see the link below to sign up for evaluations. Chris Shackleton, a carded GHRA judge, will be your evaluator. Katie and Chris both were active judges and graders for CHAPS (Coloured Horse and Pony Society) and the Gypsy Cob Registry in England prior to moving to the United States in 2019.
The host hotel is Comfort Inn at 710 America Drive, SW, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. When booking, you must indicate that you are there for the Gypsy Iowa Classic Horse Show. You must book by October 7th to receive the show rate.

The Gypsy Horse Registry is excited to announce that we will be awarding an Ideal Eurotech Classic driving harness from A-Z Horsedriving to the Driving Champion at the Festival of the Gypsies show. The show takes place in Red Bluff, California on Friday September 24 thru September 26th.
