😍 So... Many... EVENTS! 😍

My CHQ prides itself on having the most extensive events calendar in all of Chautauqua! We do this so YOU have a place to go to find out what is going on, when, and where! 💯

Since we began this journey back in April/May of this year, we have listed more than 1,500 events into our calendar! 🤯 We have also created the My CHQ Group, so when we upload new events, we post about them in the group as well!! 📆

If you or any of your friends or family ever ask the question "What is going on this week/weekend?" tell them to head to MyCHQ.org and click on Events! 👀 You can search all of the events by venues, organizers, type of event/categories, and you can see the events in a month, day, or list view! 🤩

We will continue to provide you with a full calendar, and find new events, locations, and businesses everyday! If you want to help us, leave a comment below or send us a DM and let us know your favorite events to attend, or businesses to support! 💪

Creations by Tara donated the custom engraved various age group plaques and the overall female and male plaques for our first 5k event this past weekend. 🏆

A person recently went above and beyond, instantly melting our hearts here at Centaur Stride Therapeutic Horseback Riding Facility.

The anonymous donor gave such a large donation that we are gaining strides towards our fundraising for new horses this fall.

With the anonymous donor's contribution, Rosie's Run , White Land Surveying , hosting our first Centaur Stride 5K Trail Walk/Run , and other smaller fundraising efforts we have raised over $6500 😲🥳🤯

We cannot thank you all enough 🙏 ❤️ 🐴

🧠DID YOU KNOW? Adaptive/therapeutic riding students with acquired brain injuries often remember their life before the injury. This means they may crave to be independent “like they used to be” while riding. Instructors are encouraged to empower these riders by giving them choices and allowing them to do as much as possible on their own or with as little support as needed to keep them safe.

9-10am 2 volunteers required
11-12pm 1 to 2 volunteers 🙋‍♂️ 🙋‍♀️

Centaur Stride will be celebrating its 30th Anniversary this year. More than 500 people with disabilities have benefitted from our programs over the years. The benefits of therapeutic riding have been well documented, but have also been witnessed through our programs. All our horses have gone through extensive training, and each is chosen specifically for a rider depending on each individual need. The majority of our budget is through fundraisers and donations, and a modest $30 per lesson rider fee, well below cost. Lessons are provided both for people with and without disabilities, so that programs are integrated. Centaur Stride has no paid administrative staff. Centaur Stride is a not-for-profit corporation. This service is very labor intensive, but also a labor of love. We are always in need of volunteers and community support.
