🐾 Meet Marshall: A Hero in the Making! 🐾

Marshall, a beloved patient here at Lange Veterinary Hospital, has begun a new chapter in his life as a Critical Incident Response Team (CIRT) K9 with the Savage Fire Department in Minnesota.

This incredible rescue dog will be working tirelessly to help 1st Responders and their communities heal from trauma. But that’s not all—Marshall is also training to be a trailing dog, aiding in the search for special needs children and the elderly who have become lost.

We’re proud to have played a part in his journey, and we’re thrilled to see him making such a meaningful impact. 🐶❤️

Hydration: High water content to keep your dog hydrated.

Low Calorie: A guilt-free treat for your dog.

Safety Tips: Remove the rind and seeds before serving to prevent choking or intestinal blockages.

🦷🐾 Keep Your Pet's Smile Healthy! 🐾🦷

Dental health is a crucial part of your pet’s overall well-being. Dental problems can cause or be caused by other health issues, so regular check-ups are essential.

Your pet’s teeth and gums should be checked at least once a year by your veterinarian for early signs of problems and to keep their mouth healthy. Schedule a dental check-up sooner if you notice any of the following:

🦷Bad breath
🦷Broken or loose teeth
🦷Extra teeth or retained baby teeth
🦷Discolored or tartar-covered teeth
🦷Abnormal chewing, drooling, or dropping food
🦷Reduced appetite or refusal to eat
🦷Pain in or around the mouth
🦷Bleeding from the mouth
🦷Swelling around the mouth

Changes in your pet’s behavior can also indicate dental problems. Always approach their mouth with care, as a painful pet may bite.

Book your pet’s dental check-up today to ensure a healthy, happy smile! 🐶🐱❤️

Happy National Swimming Pool Day! 🌊🐾

As you celebrate today with some poolside fun, keep these safety tips in mind to ensure your furry friends stay safe and enjoy the water too:

Supervision is Key: Never leave your dog unattended around the pool.
Teach Pool Exit: Show your dog where the pool steps or ramp are located so they can exit safely.
Fresh Water: Ensure your dog has access to fresh drinking water to prevent them from drinking pool water.
Rinse Off: After swimming, rinse your dog to remove chlorine and prevent skin irritation.
Floatation Devices: Consider using a dog life jacket, especially for less experienced swimmers.
Enjoy a splash-tastic day while keeping safety first! 🐶💦
