🌟Are you looking for a PACKER? Something your grandma and husband could ride? 🌟
I have 3!
1. 21yr old 18h warmblood gelding. Perfect for wt-2’6 in all three rings. Absolutely saint! I’ve never seen this horse spook.

2. 12yr old 15.2 (but WIDE) draft cross mare. Perfect for wt-.80 jumpers. Leg ride and an auto change! She literally used to walk people down the aisle at weddings!

3. 8yr old 14.1h welsh gelding. This guy is a little on the greener side but with a program would be totally fine! Will make up to be a division pony with time. Cute mover, good jump! He’s one of my favorites to ride.

This is NOT a paid position but would be in exchange for full training for 1 horse!

Are you looking to gain horse experience in a boutique environment? Do you have an attention to detail and a self motivated attitude? Do you love working with cute ponies and quality young horses? River Wood might be the place for you!

This is primarily a grooming position -
Tacking and untacking
Lunging
Mane pulling
Tack cleaning
Helping set jumps
Some riding possible!

Candidate must be available for a few hours 11-4 3 days a week!

A good fit is most important and we are willing to train the right person!

Super great brain and easy to work with! Not your typical TB - he's an easy going guy who aims to please. Safe under saddle and on the ground. Prior to having some time off (no fault of his) was jumping around a 2'6" course with a lead change being used as a lesson horse. He is looking for someone to take the time to get him back in shape.
