Shelter Closed to the Public Tomorrow, 1/15/2025
The Sherwood Humane Animal Shelter will be closed tomorrow for a water leak repair. Staff will still be answering calls during the day, but the shelter will not be open to the public for pet viewing. Thank you for your patience and understanding as this necessary repair is made.

Sweet Aggie, a loveable Lab mix, is eagerly waiting for her new home after being found as a stray and sadly not being reunited. Despite her sad circumstances, Aggie loves people and loves to play. We first met her yesterday and she greeted us like we’ve been friends forever. She loves treats, she’s an expert at ‘sit’ and followed us around “Look at me I’m sitting again can I have another treat?”. With her adorable low-rider stature and her happy personality, she’s ready to be part of a family and embark on her new adventures.

Aggie will need to meet all family members, including resident dogs to make sure everyone gets along before going home. Once home, please give her time to decompress and get used to what you expect of her. You will have to put in time to train her and with patience you will be amazed at how smart she is.

Aggie will be spayed, utd on vaccines including rabies and will be microchipped.

It's hard to believe that this handsome guy has been at the shelter for a year today, so we wanted to make a year of King video. He's an amazing guy that loves to cuddle and he's so gentle. Sadly he does have to be adopted into a non-bsl area but that shouldn't stop him from finding a home.
