Opening weekend is coming to close. We hope that you had an amazing time in the woods to reflect and talk to God. We enjoyed time with family and got lucky with two deer. If you got lucky too we can help bring your trophy back to all its glory!

We hope that you are having a fulfilling start to the 2024 season. Sounds like the bucks are starting to shake things up in the woods and success is being had. As deer start to be harvested hot and heavy going into the rut, here is your yearly reminder of how to cape out a deer. The blue tape marks are the proper cut lines. You cannot give me too much cape but you can give me too little. Also if you really “butcher” a cape job and it creates more sewing time to fix it can affect cost.

Good luck to everyone as we are about to turn the page to the best month of the year for hunting…..November!
