It's the 30th anniversary of World Spay Day and we'd like to draw your attention to our amazing, incomparable, lifesaving partners at Feral Cat Coalition of Oregon

These compassionate and skilled folks have helped more than 140,000 community cats cats as the largest spay/neuter program in Oregon and one of the largest in the nation. They have been instrumental in helping teach us all that feral and community cats deserve care and respect by providing spay and neuter surgeries and orchestrating Trap-Neuter-Return.

Meet Pippa and Posey! This bonded pair of sisters is your dose adoption adorable-ness.

Posey and Pippa will keep you entertained for hours with their silly antics. Timid to start, this darling duo of tuxedo excellence warm up quickly once they're feeling safe and loved.

At 18-months-old, beautiful Pippa is an absolute doll who wants all of your love! She will cuddle up next to you for all the pets, and at night, she will sleep at your feet. She loves to show her affection through head butts and rubbing, and often naps belly up. Pippa is a gentle soul who loves playing with wand toys, watching critters out the window, and nomm'ing all the treats.

Sister and fellow snuggle champ, Posey, is 3-years-old, and simply a delights. She can often be found in the middle of an hours-long play sesh with her favorite wand toy. Immediately following, she'll curl up on her heated bed by the window so that when she wakes, she will be able to track all the wildlife outside. Posey loves to show affection and will demand attention if you're not freely giving it.

🥱 We're just shaking off the yawns from our annual CATnap Break Week to learn that we've been awarded a $25,000 grant from Petco Love and BOBS from SKECHERS! 🎉

Last fall, Wesleigh— adopter and local news superstar (Wesleigh Ogle KATU)— submitted her adoption story. Petco held a celebration and presented us with a giant check! We're so honored and plan to use the funds to continue our lifesaving work.

Purina donates delicious, nourishing food for our shelter residents, like Balthazar, and also provides probiotic supplements that help cats and kittens feel their best. brings you Minka, a 6-year-old with incomparable beauty and purr-sonality.

You can't miss Ms. Minka when she's in the room. She enjoys long naps in sunbeams and on cat trees, and she might even pick your lap for a snooze, but only after she's decided to trust you. Minka seldom misses an opportunity to greet you at the door and weave through your legs to tell you she's missed you. She can be a tripping hazard, but only because she wants to be around you and be involved.

Minka's a smart cat and learns quickly. She responds to her name and would be quick to pick up tricks if you'd like to train her! Minka's love for attention makes her best suited to be an only cat. If you're looking for a cat to give lots of love and attention to, Minka will happily return the favor.

Cats have arrived from Southern Oregon!

We received a transport of almost two-dozen cats this afternoon from our partners at Saving Grace Humane Society and Josephine County Animal Shelter They had a long ride and are settling into their temporary homes in the shelter. We'll have them available for adoption soon.

Help! We're low on giveaway carriers for our low-income surgery clients!

Sometimes, our pet owners bring their cats and kittens to us in carriers that aren't safe for the animals. When that's the case, we give carriers to them at no cost and our backstock is running low. Can you help donate a carrier or two so our clients can safely transport their pets home post-procedure?

Mabel Loves Pencil

#CATalumni Manny thoroughly enjoyed diving into his KitNipBox— treats, catnip, and all. Our shelter cats can't resist the goodies that arrive at our doorstep each month. Try them out!

Adorable Abby is ready to go home. She's 5 months old, playful, fun, and outgoing. What more could you want? Come to the shelter to meet her today!

Cat Adoption Team (CAT) is the largest cat shelter in the Pacific Northwest dedicated to finding a home for every cat we take in. With the generous support of our community, we offer adoption, foster care, and veterinary services to homeless cats and kittens.

With over 20 years of experience and more than 50,000 adoptions, we know cats! While in our care, cats and kittens have access to enrichment activities, behavior modification, medical care, and a variety of housing options to meet their individual needs.

Our doors opened on May 1, 1998, and since that time we’ve remained dedicated to saving the lives of homeless felines.

CAT’s staff and volunteers work tirelessly to care for and find a home for every cat and kitten we take in. Through our carefully supervised adoption program, more than 3,300 cats and kittens are adopted into loving homes each year.
