For some reason the movie "Field of Dreams" came to my mind and the statement " If you build it they will come" came to mind and I realized that's exactly what I did. Lol.
Since my stepfather went into the medical system in May all three of us have had pneumonia for a month, from Pottsville, then we were better than we had covid from kulpont, then we were better but not quite as good, and then we had that lower respiratory thing from where he is presently at. (I was on maximun dose mucinex and didnt know I was reacting to it, for ten days) (YIKES) My mother and I have been well for about a week but just we're starting to get our strength back and she fell on her knee and it hurts, a lot. she spent the day at the hospital and they sent her home and told her to put ice on it and take Tylenol because they can't find any damage anywhere but it hurts, a lot.
She was so excited about starting to go to the senior center again but now she's injured and again semi isolated. The isolation is the worst thing for all these people out there, there is no place for them to go. When she is around people she's a completely different person and I know a lot of my friends on here are also caretakers so you all know exactly what I'm talking about. I wish somebody young smart and enthusiastic would figure out a way to start a fund to buy some malls and turn them into great big Alzheimer's senior places where they can just go wander about have everybody that works there trained, it would be packed all the time, they would be so happy just wandering about looking at things, designed like years ago, simple, easy, comfortable things for them to do and see and navigate.
Hey someone
"If you build it, they WILL come! "
