Hey everyone! Wanted to get back on here and address a few things!

I have been MIA for a few months due to some life changing events in my personal life. Every thing is back to normal and we are moving forward! I apologize for the lapse in time from posting on here.

A few of you have reached out along the way inquiring about the status of your mounts. As of right now, all my capes are still at the tannery. I spoke with them last week and I’m expecting my first load of capes back within the next 3-4 weeks.

With that being said, I will be working diligently to complete everyone’s mounts by October 1st!

For those that have reached out during this time, I really appreciate yall!

I am looking forward to getting y’all’s bucks finished up and getting them on your wall where they belong.

Merry Christmas to everyone!

Y’all have made my first year in business a dream come true! Still have deer coming in the shop and can’t believe the amount of support I’ve received! I have more than tripled my goal for my first year and it’s all thanks to y’all!

Good luck to all my Virginia hunters this morning! Opening day has finally come. Hope everyone has a safe, fun, and productive deer season!

Remember, a high quality mount starts with you!

Taking care when skinning out your buck, keeping the cape dry, and getting him in a freezer or cooler immediately will ensure that I can deliver you a top notch mount!

I have been intaking more than a few bucks over the last week with unusable capes due to being cut too short or having large holes cut out of the brisket, leg, and or armpit region.

If you take a buck worth mounting, TAKE YOUR TIME when caping him out. This will save you and myself time and money and ensure you get back a quality mount!

Here is a picture of where to make your cuts for a perfect cape. From that point just skin your buck down toward the neck and leave around 6” of neck from the base of the skull so I can pull proper measurements.

Again, take your time. Don’t cut any white hair up the back of the legs, armpits, or brisket area and make sure to cut the bottom of the legs at the ”elbow” joint.
