All About Equine Used Tack Store All About Equine Animal Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. AAE has accepted tack donations since inception of the rescue in 2009.

Initially, we used donated tack for handling, evaluating, training, and riding at AAE. As tack donations grew, we began to sell the surplus tack at AAE and on Craigslist to help raise funds for feed, veterinary expenses, and other needs. Over time, our tack inventory grew, and we had occasional tack sales as better ways to raise funds for the horses. As awareness of AAE has grown, so has our tack

donations. We continue to receive some amazing and incredibly generouse tack donations. However, our tack inventory has grown beyond feasible for managing a tack sale. As a result, AAE searched for a retail space for some time. Fortunately, we found an ideal space in Shingle Springs that offer retail space as well as office and warehouse space. Although it's not the most visible location, the store is also in close proximity to Lees' Feed, which makes for an easy horse shopping experience!

Dear motorists - and non-horse people,
please do not drive in front of a horse-trailer into the supposedly large gap to the foreman.
We have a long distance from the front man, not because we drive slowly Wir, but we need a long brake path. Unfortunately, we don't have it anymore, if you stop in front of us.
Our horses in the trailer need us to be careful and slow in curves and slow down so they have a chance to balance. Not only can they otherwise be seriously injured, it can even flip the entire trailer and cause serious accidents.

On the photo you can see how little space and opportunity the mare has to keep her balance. The foal is even right under her. She knows a misstep could seriously hurt her foal, so she tries to keep it from moving as possible. You can only do that if I can drive carefully. Please help me do this and consider!

Join us and be a part of our fun, horse-loving team! AAE has a multitude of volunteer needs from daily horse care to supporting our used tack store in Shingle Springs (open daily 12-4pm). There are volunteer needs in all areas of our organization.

We also have a paid part-time position working at the AAE Barn in Pilot Hill, CA. Help is needed for several afternoon shifts, 2:30-6:30p, and occasional morning shifts, 8:00-12:30p.

If you're interested in volunteering, please submit a Volunteer Interest Form via AAE's website, www.allaboutequine.org/volunteer.
