SG Positive Image (LL Darkh Image++++// x MF Amirah Samrah+++/) turned 3 years old today! 15 hands. 950 lbs. Taking a bridle and saddle really well. He is solid!

Someone turned 35 today! Miss Winnie is the best in everything she does from trucking around little kiddos and special needs riders to competitive trail, to raising Sami's orphaned foal, to third level dressage - she has done it all. I love this mare with all my heart. (We will have a sunny celebration with her "cake" in a day or two.)

What a fun weekend we had at the Equine Trail Sports Obstacle Tournament at the El Dorado County Fairgrounds. This was the first time either Shey or Image have done in-hand obstacles in competition. Anna and Shey placed 10th and Image and I ... well, we were not last ... so I am thrilled! Image did a fabulous job on the bridge and the video is below. 8 obstacles, lots of challenges. What a great experience for his little baby brain. So proud.

Wow! Huge congratulations going out to our friend Nicole Tuscher and Stargazer Arabians for their Scottsdale Championship Sport Horse in Hand Gelding SG As You Wish. This half-Arabian gelding is half sibling to my 2 year old gelding by the amazing stallion LL Darkh Image.

Congratulations to Stephanie Stein and Sashey La Fey, and Jean Zabriskie and Honeys Diva on their High Point awards at the California WDAA year end awards banquet last weekend. Stephanie was Regional Champion and Year-End High Point Reserve Champion in the Exceptional Rider division and Jean was Fourth in the Amateur Division. As an added bonus ... Sashey La Fey was the highest scoring Purebred Arabian horse in the western dressage division!

Got a bit of trail riding in before the storm. Well ... for me ... trail walking with my 2 y.o., Image, but Anna was riding Shey and we had a lot of fun!
Image did not spook at anything and was really relaxed. This was the furthest he has walked on the trail!

So this came. This warms my heart so much! Miss Winnie, at 34 years old, carried sweet Audrey to her 3rd place for Regional Championships. I cannot believe how much this mare has given to so many over her 34 years. What an amazing blessing she has been in my life, and the lives of so many.

Congratulations Jean Zabriskie and Honeys Diva on their Sixth place in the Cool Canyon NATRC ride. This was Diva's first competitive trial ride and she rocked.
Just got home. 10+ on downhill and 10 on the bridge. Wow! P&R great. 12 and 4 so got full points of 20 for that.
Way to go Jean and Diva!

So proud of these two! I trained Diva for three great years and love working with that mare. I am so pleased to see her progression continue with her owner Jean Zabriskie. They are a beautiful team.
Last weekend at DAHA Fall Fling, for their first live show together, Jean and Honeys Diva scored 73.8 and 71.5!
So proud of them both.

Was able to get a break in my caregiver duties today for a few hours and take Shey on a trail ride with Jean and Diva. Thank you Jean for a great day!
Wish I could be at DAHA next week, but it just isn't in the cards this year. I am thankful for any time I get like today.

We had a great day with Jean and Diva showing western dressage and Abby grooming and helping out. What a lovely moment for grandma and granddaughter to spend together before Abby headed off to Utah State.
