Henry's a little bit of charm and a little snuggly with huge hopes to find his forever family.

He entered our rescue when his people could no longer care for him.

Henry shows his heart full of love with his gentle nuzzle and eagerness to cuddle next to you. He'll happily walk the neighborhood to discover the best sniffing areas or be a cooperative traveling companion.

Eight-year-old Henry would be grateful for an experienced adopter and be the one and only canine companion who showers his person with affection.

Beautiful and precious Shane brought immense joy and love to Janet, our wonderful adoption coordinator.

Janet cherished him from the very beginning, and Shane, the foster dog, lovingly (and quickly) became Shane, the forever family companion who captured hearts with his sweetness.

Shane inspired Maggie Mae and Layla, his canine siblings, to keep trekking on their many delightful hiking journeys through rugged mountains or along the coast. He was always ready to move his paws to explore nature.

Shane constantly shared his unconditional love, his warm cuddles and playful antics. He was a treasured family member who had been given a wonderful second chance life with Janet.

Janet loved him dearly to let him go peacefully.

We love you, Shane, and you will be missed greatly.

Her name is Jasmine, and she's just as sweet.

Welcome to our newest twelve-year-old who was surrendered when her person passed, and the family could no longer care for her.

Jasmine cherishes a gentle pet or two, or five, though she currently prefers not to be lifted. Her favorite moments are snuggling with her foster mom and sharing kisses.

Jasmine is adjusting to her new life. She hopes to be adoptable soon and added to our website along with our other lovable NorCal Cocker dogs waiting for their forever homes. If she met them, they'd certainly become her canine friends.

Welcome ten-year-old Riley who's feeling loved and more secure because of his foster mom's thoughtful care. Thanks for the smile, sweet boy.

Riley's person passed two years ago, and now, because of current circumstances, the family can no longer care for him.

Big Day of Giving? Big Day of Giving is a fundraiser for local non-profits in the Sacramento Area. You have a wonderful opportunity to support our rescue, which is a part of this fundraiser, on Thursday, May 1st!

Four-year-old Carly, rescued from the Visalia Shelter, entered our rescue with severely infected ears. She's completed her first ear ablation surgery and in six weeks, will undergo her second one.

Carly might be somewhat shy and unsure at first but quickly warms and shows her very sweet personality. She thoroughly enjoys romping around her foster mom's yard with the other dogs.

Hopefully, she'll be available for her forever family after the healing process.

Three-year-old Sally and five-year-old Hans, the sweet bonded companions, will bring daily gifts of love, delight and charm to a forever family.

They entered our rescue when their family could no longer care for them.

Sally may be considered the more adventurous one. She might show interest in chewing a sock or shoe, shredding paper, or easily opening a baby gate. Hans seems to be the gentler one.

At the local dog park, they greet unfamiliar dogs in a friendly way, however, they're more curious to see what's happening with their person.

Both will cooperatively travel by car and are improving their leash skills.

Be ready for double the cuddles and love with these two.

Darling Diva's a relaxed dog with a temperament that's sweeter than a chocolate bunny. Yes, she's ten, yet her unconditional love is huge, and she fills her foster home daily with her happy energy.

During her transport adventure to her foster home, Diva participated in a sleepover with four newly-introduced dogs. All was quiet during the night.

Diva gently greets other dogs and prefers to give an enthusiastic hello to people.

Diva hopes to enrich your life in countless ways and has had endless practice in being a loyal and fun companion which she'd be thrilled to continue in her forever home.🏡

Hey, sweet Oliver, we just love your freckled face and happy disposition.

Five-year-old Oliver was found wandering the San Jose streets, transported to the San Jose Shelter where we rescued him.

Oliver's personality certainly delights his foster mom. He's an affectionate and snuggly guy who bursts at times with puppy energy. Oliver loves to check out the kitchen counters, "Oh, what can I reach today?" He's a grab and go kind of guy, then chews! When adopted, Oliver will surely pack his chew toys to take along. (Thank you, foster mom, for providing a solution for his chewing cravings.)

Oliver is a good walking buddy though he might be reactive with unfamiliar dogs. Living with other canines is good, just not the felines.

Oliver's looking for an experienced adopter who'll help him to reach his full potential of becoming a wonderful canine citizen.
