Weekend goals: Welcome a furry family member into your home and your heart! 🐾🐾

Tomorrow, Saturday, June 7th, is California FREE Adopt-a-Pet Day, and Haven Humane Society is waiving pet adoption fees that day for animals adopted in the Morgan Adoption Center from 11 am to 5 pm and at PetSmart on Hilltop Drive in Redding from 11:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Adopt-a-Pet Day is a statewide event hosted by CalAnimals, SF SPCA, and the ASPCA.

Find a list of adorable adoptables from Haven Humane at https://www.havenhumane.org/adoption-center

Last year, 33 animals from Haven Humane found loving homes in just one day! Imagine how many more pets could find their forever homes this year. Help make it happen by sharing this post.

Our Story

We are a non-profit animal rescue organization dedicated to the prevention of cruelty and abandonment of animals. We assist in funding spay and neuter services on a case by case basis to prevent unwanted animals. We spend an average of $10,00o a year providing spay and neuter in our community. R.A.I.N. has placed an average of 100 cats and kittens, 50-70 dogs a year since 2009. We also foster and reunite lost animals with their owners. We have a relationship with Shasta Wildlife as a go-between with the public to receive and transport injured wildlife.
