HAPPY THANKSGIVING🦃 to all my 2 and 4 legged friends! While you celebrate with your canine companion today, keep in mind that what's good for you isn't always so good for them and can, in some cases, be a trip to the emergency vet if you're not careful! Here's a list of some of the more common Thanksgiving Day fare. Take a look at it and be sure to scrape off any of the offending items before you let your pup indulge in any of your leftovers. Let's play it safe this holiday season so we can all enjoy the time with our friends and family versus making new friends at the vet's office! M'kay? M'kay! 🥕🌽🍗🍠🍎🐶🐾

You have to click on each post to see more information from there. There will be a brief descriptive post and photos. Click each photo. The identifying information you're looking for for each individual puppy is listed on each photo.

I know it's Christmas time and with that comes what I call "smell good season" where we start burning candles and setting out the scented pine cones, and using air fresheners that make the house smell like we just got done baking Christmas cookies all day because... well, who *actually* has time to bake cookies all day right?!? Did you know that some of the top scents for this holiday season are TOXIC to dogs?!?! I know we focus a lot on what our pups can enjoy for a treat off our plate, but it's super important, especially with bradychephalic breeds like Shih Tzus, Pugs, Boxers, Frenchies (think flat nosed adorableness) that we are paying attention to what we are using to scent the air. Very common scents for this time of year like peppermint, cinnamon, clove, pine, and wintergreen are all TOXIC ☠️ to our canine companions and can lead to respiratory distress and simeizures before we even realize what's happening. I'm including a link to a short article that talks about safe and unsafe essential oils for dogs. Consider that a good general guide for picking out scents if you want to make your house smell extra inviting this time of year.

Despite being BBB accredited, having a 5 star reputation with dozens of reviews, having a website, physical location, and doing everything exactly the way I'm supposed to do it: someone is mass reporting all my posts on this page and getting the algorithm to flag the page and now it's at risk of being taken down. I've put a lot of time and effort into building this business and if a spiteful person destroys it and Facebook just lets them, I don't think I'm doing it all over again. I'm tired of pouring my heart and soul into something for people to delight in tearing it apart.

Ok guys, I know that Christmas is right around the corner and everybody is itching to get those puppies. Please be patient with me. I have one child scheduled to go inpatient at Riley Children's Hospital today and another who woke up this morning (my daughter with appendicial cancer who is scheduled for surgery mid-December for an ovarian cyst) in excruciating abdominal pain who I've had to take to the ER to make sure she doesn't need emergency surgery today. I'm going to do my best to get everybody answered as I can.

Your Puppy Lady is headed WEST! I'm organizing a trip to the west coast right before Christmas which, if enough people join together, will enable me to offer seriously discounted transport rates on pups! I'll be driving, so I'll be headed through Illinois, Iowa, the bottom of Nebraska and the top of Kansas, the northeastern portion of Colorado, the southern edge of Wyoming, the northern part of Utah, part of Idaho, and a good portion of Oregon. Once I'm on the West Coast, I'm willing to drive North a little into Washington state and South a bit into Northern California (if there's enough demand). This trip will ONLY happen if there is enough interest and enough puppies lined up to head out to make the trip worth it. I want to offer my West Coast and Plains states customers a chance to get pups at affordable rates for Christmas this year but we've all got to work together to make it happen! So, if you're along the route and been eyeing a pup, message me and let's start making some plans!
