How long before you put away all the Christmas decor? Are you still playing Christmas music like I am? After all, we have so much to celebrate! The Savior has been born! No time for Grinches! Unless your heart has grown 3 sizes- (is it 3? -I should know my Grinch facts 😅)

Fingerless gloves are a great idea for driving and shopping, when you’re running to & fro, for using your phone and grabbing your keys. These are sooo soft and cozy, and I made a matching headband/earwarmer; you’ll need a pair for yourself. And we still have much more winter here in Pennsylvania after Christmas. I’m asking $30, but pay whatever you want! I’m thankful for you!

According to the web, granny squares have a 100+ year history and got their name because it was mostly grannies who crocheted them. They are easy to do, can use up leftover yarn scraps, and are usually done in squares. If you look closely, you’ll see these start as a circle but become a square. Regardless of their history, they have longevity and remain “in style” through decades of the fashion industry.
In fact, while I was finishing this, I was watching a Hallmark Christmas movie & Caroline Rhea was wearing a granny square sweater!
How about you—Do you love them or are they too old-fashioned for your taste?
