In 13 days we have an event planned to celebrate 10 years of Beck's Place - a decade of keeping families and their pets together through domestic violence, hospital stays, mental health and substance treatment, and housing insecurity.

But here is the challenge:

• Our goal is $25,000
• We are significantly short of that with only $4K raised so far
• We just faced an unexpected $2K vet bill for one of our fosters

Without a strong push by 𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟰𝘁𝗵 we risk not meeting the financial goals needed to sustain our services.

Your pet is not "just a pet", it's part of your family, your heart, your soul. Loving a pet can be more intense than loving a human. Grief is hard and it's different for everyone. There's no right way or wrong way to grieve. You will probably grieve for the of your life. But, as time goes by, the pain becomes easier to cope with. 🐾💔🌈
