Working with an owner who puts her dog into prey drive and he’s mangled other dogs. She can’t see why it’s not good idea to put a pitbull in full drive and no structure for him to use it on. It’s a long rehab for both of them.

Here’s the way to start your training:

Get your tray bag and put your dogs normal food in it mixed with a few treats.
Strat by holding the treats to your chest and make sure the dog has smaller your hand and knows the treats are in it.
Say “yes” or “Good” as the dog sits in front of you and give a couple treats.
Then say “Break” and move your hand with the treats away from the front of you like to the side of you and say”Yes” or”Good” then give treats. Do this for many repetitions until the dog understands that “Yes” or “Good” means something positive. And “Break” means release from sitting in front of you and they can do as they please and is also positive. That’s the foundation for success in training everything. This takes many repetitions. And this is phase one. I will post a video soon.
