Meet our newest doctor, Dr. Jazmine Kim!

For many of you, Dr. Kim will be a familiar face. Prior to vet school, Dr. Kim worked here as a veterinary assistant for many years. She loved her time here so much she decided to come back as a veterinarian after graduating from Midwestern University earlier this year. Her special interests include shelter medicine, geriatric medicine, and internal medicine.

Welcome home, Dr. Kim - we are thrilled to have you back with us!

August 17th is Black Cat Appreciation Day! Us cat lovers know there's nothing unlucky about black kitties. And while we adore cats of any color, there is something very special about these guys!

Did you know that lost cats with microchips are more than 20 times likely to be reunited with their owners? However, only about 6 out of 10 microchips are properly registered! Check the Chip Day is a great day to make sure your cat's microchip information is up to date. If you're unsure of your cat's microchip number, let us know - we may have it already in our system, or we can scan your cat the next time they're in to get that number for you!
