Brushing your cat's teeth - is it possible? Well, it depends on your cat!
Some cats do take well to tooth brush training. The important things are to start them when they're young and to start slow! Get them used to having your fingers near their mouth or teeth, and start with just a piece of gauze and work up to a toothbrush. The more you can brush a cat's teeth, the better the benefit.
Here's a great video of Dr. Perkins brushing her cat Susu's teeth at home. Susu was started on tooth brushing as a kitten, and you can tell he loves it!

Dr. Elliot recently saw Ty and Pygar for their annual exams. They were a little nervous so we offered them some Churu treats as an icebreaker and they loved it. Ty (orange) was fine with anything as long as she had Churu. Pygar took a little more convincing. They both did great for their annual check up.
