Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Cappuccino is so excited he can’t contain himself! Griffey the super sized Frenchie arrived today for 8 sleeps. Cap is learning to take breaks for Griffey. 🤪

Dogs see blue and yellow hues, however they have greater peripheral vision, and they can see better in low-light conditions than humans. So, even if they may have trouble distinguishing certain colors, they have great skills.

Big Murray enjoyed his early pre heat advisory walk today. What a giant love he is. He may have elbow dysplasia and has been asked to loose weight. What is everyone’s favorite high value low cal treat?

The current boarding guest is Pip! He’s such a goofy fella. Pips house has retractable bug screen doors so we are teaching him this one is quiet and he can go outside without a person opening it. More to come.

Hurray for stationing skills! This mornings breakfast will be delivered piece by piece while I vacuum so you both can continue to safely conduct Wrestle Mania.

Welcome Iggy! He’ll be staying with us for 8 sleeps and no one is more happy than Cappuccino! They’ve been at this all night. 🤪

At no extra charge Cappuccino will play non-stop with our staycation guests. 😂

He did it!!! Pip came to me totally afraid of the screen from previous experience of his at home that is retractable (slam) and needs a person to open. First I taught him to nose target a piece of blue tape, called it Blue Dot and then transferred that to the screen door. He so brave. ☺️ p.s. yes Zeke’s birthday card is still hanging on the door. He LOVES that I drew Kermit the Frog playing a banjo and then got his own real Banjo for a present. #bestgal

We are teaching Peppa to use the French Door bug screen. She is HILARIOUS! She gets stuck inside or outside, but not anymore. If she didn’t hate pools I’d say she has a future in dock diving. 😂

Gary is an epic pro level sleeper. It can take a little coaxing to get him up. 😂

Whoa!!! Check out these temps! Concrete jungle of Downtown Seattle is even hotter. Just stay home already.

Iggy went home today. I made a little before and after Drop It training video. We practiced very lightly, focusing more on his relaxed comfort away from home, about 5 minutes a day and we did NOT use any treats. 1 more week and he’d be dropping the ball in my hand. He was an absolute treasure and the perfect guest. 🩵

I caught Iggy wanting to entice a squirrel to play. No critters will be harmed by this zero prey drive Frenchie. He’s hilarious!

Sometimes dog training is about setting up the environment for optimum learning. This giant backyard has not been fenced until recently so we are encouraging exploration little by little with a voluntary reorientation back to us by installing temporary fencing. Bonus, I got my leg workout in! #fencemuscles #whataview #whataslope
