There’s no need to wait to train your puppy. Start early !!
Food puzzles bowls and toys are a excellent way to get your dog to slow down and work for their food.
Instead of finishing lunch in 30 seconds Cooper is using his brain and more time to eat his lunch.
It was very fun teaching young Eames to 'go to bed'. He is an enthusiastic learner!
Phoebe and Harvey being positively socialized to the leaf blower. Socialization during the critical age of 8-14 weeks helps puppies grow into confident dogs.
No barking at leaf blowers in their future.
Dog Park at Playa Vista, LA - heaven on earth for these pups.
Here is Cisco eating his dinner out of a Kong. Inside the Kong is his dinner kibble with a teaspoon of non-fat cream cheese. I put the Kong in the freezer for a few hours since its a hot day and it also makes it harder to get the kibble out. Cisco has to figure out how to get the yummy contents out by using his brain along with his paws and jaw. Food puzzles are a great way to have dogs 'work' for their dinner much the same way their ancestors had to. Instead of finishing his dinner in a matter of minutes he will be working on his Kong for awhile.
Sunday morning walk in Harding.

9 week old Shea plays with patient 5 year old Pico. This is what dog play should look like.
Nothing like a good knuckle bone to get some good safe chewing done. This one has been around our house for over 4 years and still going strong. Blizzy looks like she may fall asleep from chewing so much!
Nice off leash recall for Ollie!
