In less than 10 hours, fosters, transporters, and volunteers, from TWO States, will brave the cold and wind to say good bye to 42 abandoned and owner surrendered dogs and puppies, as they place them on our North Shore Animal League America transport. Our transports require immense coordination of our dedicated team members in East Texas and North Louisiana, 4-6 veterinarians and staff, photo shoots, spreadsheets, 42 packets of paperwork, foster letters for adopters, multiple veterinarian appointments, coordinating supplies, hundreds of phone calls and texts, lots of puppy cuddles and kisses and the dedication of NSALA for welcoming our southern babies to safety. Our ❤️ are overwhelmed with gratitude, that in 2020, NSALA chose Paws 4 Life to partner with & that nearly 6,000 dogs, puppies, cats and kittens, have been given their first chance at life. Together, we can save even more lives in 2025. ❤️🗽🐶🇺🇸

Happy New Year Aldo! Thank you to That Crazy Dog lady and North Shore Animal League America for giving Aldo a second chance to be adopted by a family who adores him! Heartfelt Christmas story....

A couple years ago, Cisco (Minden Animal Control alumni) was tagged for rescue through Misfit Farms Rescue & Sanctuary. He was then adopted out through For the Love of Dogs Vermont to a wonderful family on the east coast! Cisco has been living his best life ever since! Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago, Cisco's family decided he needed a brother. Cajun (Minden Animal Control alumni) had been tagged by Paws 4 Life and left for North Shore Animal League America. Cisco's parents patiently waited for Northshore to post Cajun for adoption. When they posted him, they made the 5 hour trip to adopt Cajun and bring him home! Cisco and Cajun both went from strays in Louisiana to living wonderful lives in the Vermont area! It truly does take a village!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Adoption stories are what we live for! Aldo is one of many abandoned, unwanted pups Paws 4 Life & North Shore Animal League America is committed to helping in East Texas. Sadly, Rusk County, Texas does not have an animal shelter and we depend on volunteers, donors, and fosters to save hundreds of unaltered dogs and puppies living in the woods, country roads and under abandoned houses. Thank you That Crazy Dog lady and your village for never giving up on the voiceless in Rusk County. Please donate funds, puppy food, dog houses, and blankets so we can . Merry Christmas 🎄

Our sweet Louisiana Sugar !! Rescued and saved by Dr. Ashley Turner at PetStar Animal Care of Bossier!! Sugar’s foster mom Amanda said ‘Upon our first meeting, she ran up to me, flopped on her back, and demanded belly rubs! She is the sweetest pup I have ever experienced!’ We Love 🧡you Sugar!!

Lil Bit, Houdini and 4 more puppies were abandoned in a Shreveport neighborhood. Thanks to Beau for keeping the puppies safe & contacting our Paws 4 Life team. All pups have been vetted and Lil Bit & Houdini are with foster families until December 9th ~ transport day to North Shore Animal League America. Thanks to these sweet folks who opened their 🧡 and 🏠 to save and foster Lil Bit & Houdini so they can have a second chance to find their forever family. 🇺🇸🏠🍁🇺🇸
