Residents of Bossier and Caddo Parishes who are on a limited income are invited to attend and register their pet for FREE spay/neuter through SSNIP. Remember, it's hip to be snipped! 🐾
✅DO bring your ID, plus a copy of your income for us to keep.

Donations needed**
We need to raise around $600 if not more.
This big guy was posted multiple times this past week. He was staying near and oilfield site in keithville. Many post were made but he was never claimed or helped so we went and got him. It took very little effort as he was super excited to see me and loaded himself in my car.
Although we typically try to help the bigger breeds, this guy is our biggest yet weighing 111 pounds! We believe he is still young with some growing to do.
The bigger dogs have much bigger vet bills as many of their needs are based off weight.
He needs neutered, heartworm tested, proheart 6, f***l, rabies, and flea prevention. Crossing our fingers he is heartworm negative 🤞
We are also having to board at our vet until we have a set plan in place. We are also planning to reach out to some breed specific rescues and also local trainers. We want to help him the best we can.
We need your help covering these cost!
This big boy was so hot and hungry and sooo happy to see someone willing to give him a ride to safety.
Let's get him vetted and off to living his best life!

Donations needed**
I need to raise a minimum of $450, if we include the proheart 12 for the two due- We are looking at closer to $650.
I have 5 of my foster dogs posted here- Oscar, Dewbie (special needs- wears diapers), Kingston, Pari, and Black Betty.
My son is graduating from Navy boot camp and we will be making a 13 hour drive to be with him. We are taking Dewbie with us as she is special needs and im the only one familiar with her routine and needs and she goes everywhere we go, even as far as Illinois for this trip 😀
I need to board 4 out of the 5 for almost a full week. Oscar and Betty will both get proheart injections while there, as they are both due in July.
I have 8 dogs total and will be leaving 3 at home with my adult sons to care for.
We dont travel much because going somewhere is not easy. Its kind of a hassle and boarding can be expensive for so many at one time.
Most of these dogs have been with me years. These bigger beautiful well behaved dogs just tend to be overlooked. We love them and will keep taking care of them until they find homes, or they live out their lives with us.
Please help me get these dogs in boarding so I can make this trip to see my son graduate. From bootcamp he will go on to school and be a part of the Navy's Neucular Department. We are so proud of him!
Im not sure when we will see him next so this is very important.

Oscar is still looking for a forever family...
He has been with me a while now. Going on two years I believe.
He is the most lovable big guy!
He is good with all of my dogs, and I have 8 here. He is a big guy and always happy and bouncy. He's very playful and could be annoying to some dogs but he means no harm. He's just a big goof!
He's very smart- he knows sit, lay, and shake. He is house trained and kennel trained and he loves car rides.
He also loves toys and being with his people.
He he is around 7ish years old based off what our vet believes.
He is neutered, chipped, current on vaccines, and heartworm negative and on prevention. He does have dry eye and requires daily drops. He's a big dog weighing around 90 pounds. We are unsure of breed but he acts like a bulldog in my opinion. He also gets hot easily and can not be left out in the louisiana summer heat for long periods of time.
I love him but he deserves a home where he can be the center of attention. He really is such a good dog!

These 2 cats need a new home. Their owner passed away and they need placement ASAP. Both are 3 years old.
Lil Bit is a sweet girl- spayed, healthy & full of love. She lives for cuddles, belly rubs and playtime with her toys. This affectionate girl is looking for a forever home where she can soak up all the love & attention she deserves. Looking for an indoor only home.
Peanut is a gentle, curious soul who just needs a little time to warm up and once she does, get ready for endless head rubs, playtime and cozy cuddles. She loves to explore her surroundings and then curl up in a warm lap for a nap. If youre looking for a loving companion with a playful spirit and a soft heart, Peanut is your girl!
**They do not have to be adopted together but they need a new home. Their mom rescued them and when she passed, their whole world was turned upside down. Lets get them in their forever homes. **

UPDATE***
yesterday this sweet old girl was reunited with her owner. She is 16 years old and has been battling thyroid cancer for almost 2 years. Her name is Bonnie. Pic in comment of her going home with her mom.

Donations needed**
I'd like to raise at least $250 to get the sweet old girl checked out by our vet tomorrow morning.
On Sunday a friend who lives about a mile from me called and told me there was a sick dog barely able to walk near her home.
I went over and found this sweet old gal. She is old and frail and looks to have a very large tumor on her neck.
I've posted all over Facebook on the lost and found pages and scanned her for a chip, no chip 😞.
She has also been reported to our parish shelter in desoto parish. They have also shared her info.
She is so sweet. She doesn't get around real well and can't hear at all. She can see, and she follows me around already. She mostly sleeps but enjoys wandering in the yard and takes treats so gently.
She doesn't mind other dogs or cats but wouldn't do well with a high energy dog that could accidently hurt her.
I do not think she has a long life left, BUT she does still have some life in her and I don't believe it's her time to go just yet. She doesn't seem to be suffering or in pain, just a very old dog.
Weve been calling her Mawmaw Mae even though she has no clue what I'm calling g her because she can't hear.
I sure wish I could locate her owners but if not ill be looking for a Hospice foster home for her. Somewhere more quiet with less animals than at my house.
We would have her seen by our vet and have a better idea what exactly she has going on with her neck.
She deserves to lounge around all day and get treats and head rubs.
She is a super easy old girl.

Pari has come a long way in a short time 🥰
He's a lover not a fighter...
He doesn't understand personal space and loves attention and giving big sloppy kisses lol
He is PERFECT in his kennel and does well with other dogs when properly introduced. We've done slow introductions and he has done well with everyone so far.
He will be added to the website tonight and will be looking for a forever home or a foster home until his forever family comes along ❤️
