Our Story
IT ALL STARTED WHEN...
The owners, Ania and Brian Brenham, have been animal lovers since they were children. Fate brought them together while Brian was serving in the US Army as a Combat Medic stationed in Germany and the oilfield steered them to Shreveport Louisiana during the Haynesville Shale boom. In 2010 they bought property from an agent involved in Dog Rescue and it wasn't long before the first of many animals wandered on to their land in need of assistance. With the guidance of rescue professionals and veterinary assistants and doctors they learned, and continue to learn, about the behavioral, social, and medical needs of a large variety of dog breeds.
Most rewarding for these two has been their role in helping neglected or unwanted animals at high risk of euthanasia find permanent forever homes. They work tirelessly with organizations throughout the region that advocate the importance of spaying and neutering of animals to prevent pet overpopulation, animal cruelty, and suffering through education and public activities.
It's hard to nail down an exact moment in time that the idea of Spoiled Rotten Pet Hotel was conceived. Suffice it to say it has taken every bit of eight years to get to this point. Brian and Ania have a passion for what they do and it shows. The dogs needs have always come first here and always will. Discerning dog owners value the quality of care and attention given here and relish the exchange of information that inevitably leads to a better quality of life for their beloved furry family member.
