🚐 Transport Day Update 🚐

Transport got off to a wonderful start this morning—Amie Blu had three vans full of puppies heading north toward a second chance at life! We had 7 onboard - a few pictured below. ❤️

All of our amazing fosters came with their little ones. It’s always a mix of emotions—so much joy knowing they’re on their way to loving forever homes, and a little bit of heartache too. We grow so close, it’s hard to say goodbye. But we remind ourselves: this is the goal.

Because of our fosters, supporters, and this incredible community, these babies are safe. They have a future. And we’re filled with hope that we can continue saving more and more lives, together.

Sarge is growing so fast! And learning so much! Jeremiah and Sarge are the PERFECT team. Working hard together to learn all the things..

We are ready for our next veteran/service dog team. If you know a veteran in need that is currently getting mental health care with a support team in place, we are ready to help!

🚨URGENT RESCUE PLEA – PENNY NEEDS US NOW 🆘

📣 $631 in donations ❤️💜 all remaining funds raised will go to tagging rescue.

Just 4 weeks old. That’s all the time little Penny has been on this earth—and already she’s known pain no baby should ever feel. Penny was found alone, trembling on the side of Fern Avenue. She’s just a tiny baby, and her little head is swollen from what we believe may have been a horrible trauma—possibly thrown from a car or worse. 💔

She needs x-rays and expert care to determine the extent of her injuries. She needs to be 🚩TAGGED BY A RESCUE 🚩to have a chance. But most of all, she needs YOU.

We are begging—please help us help her. Your donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward Penny’s vet care and getting her on the road to healing. We want to give her a chance to grow up, to feel love, to have soft beds, belly rubs, and the kind of life every puppy deserves.

Sweet Skye Needs a Forever Home! 💖

Meet Skye, a tender 2-year-old terrier mix with a heart of gold! This precious girl was found wandering a busy intersection, clearly lost and longing for kindness. She's had a rough start – underweight, likely had multiple litters, and is heartworm positive (treatable!).

Skye is a bit shy at first, but give her a few minutes, some gentle pets, and a few treats, and she blossoms! She's incredibly grateful for any affection and will quickly become your loyal lap dog. It's heartbreaking to think she hasn't known much love, but she's ready to change that! Her calm and gentle nature makes her a great fit for almost any home. We always recommend meet-and-greets with the whole family to ensure a perfect match.

Skye is heartworm positive. But don't let that deter you! Treatment is readily available, and a veterinary plan is required at adoption. We can even help with medication costs, making treatment affordable!

Skye deserves a loving family to cherish her forever!

Lost and longing for a place to call home. 💔 Meet Andy and Isaac, two beautiful 7-month-old Mountain Cur mixes who are waiting patiently for their forever families.

These sweet boys were brought to the shelter as strays, and heartbreakingly, no one ever came to claim them. Can you imagine? Two young pups, full of life and potential, left wondering why their humans never returned.

Andy and Isaac are a little shy at first, but underneath that timid exterior lies a playful and loving spirit. Mountain Cur mixes are known for their loyalty and their hardworking nature, making them perfect companions for those who love the great outdoors. They're active pups, though, so a fenced yard where they can run and play is a must!

They don't need to be adopted together, and at their young age, they'll adapt quickly to a new home. Like all puppies, they'll need patience, training, and lots of love as they learn the ropes of their new lives.

* He will be neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated before going to his new home.

We got him to our vet, and thankfully, he’s basically a healthy 12-year-old cat—relatively speaking… 🐈🐈‍⬛ Rascal still needs a rescue or adopter. He’s waiting at Caddo Parish Animal Shelter, and we need your help to get him out! This old man has lost everything—his home, his family, his safety net. He needs a quiet place where he can feel safe and decompress. Given time, patience, and love, he’ll come around. He is so worth it! Someone out there needs Rascal as much as he needs them.
