Meet Chelsea! She’s the next featured artist that will be at our PAWSTRUCK event 10/20 at Awestruck ! All of the vendors that will be at this event are personal friends of mine and I know each one very well so it’s a pleasure to have them featured at this event! Chelsea’s work is unique, beautiful, fun and a lot of it is very functional. Please see comment section for a few more pics of what she’s bringing to sell ! 'A lot of my artwork is based on self-expression and aesthetic pleasure.
I spend a lot of my time being out in nature and being around a multitude of animals. Having a lot of time spent with both, I have experienced the many stages of life and death. Death is a part of living, and I like to view it as something that can be beautiful.
A lot of my work is a combination of life and/or death, with real or faux flora. I use a wide range of different meduims, ranging from 3D printed items, epoxy resin, acrylics, watercolors, embroideries, and much more.

Zeek STILL needs a home . He’s wonderful in many ways but we are recommending that he not live with kids under the age of 12 (unless your kid is super dog savvy ) due to his possessive behavior with anything that’s his . He has a major crush on Luna our female pitbull at DVHS but doesn’t get along with cats .
We have MANY dogs waiting to go home and our dog adoptions have been very slow . If you’re in a position to even foster one of our dogs at this time , we would love to hear from you . At a minimum we are taking on average 4 calls a day from people looking to surrender a dog or multiple dogs . Sadly the demand for our services by far outweighs the number of dogs we are placing. Times are tough and all shelters are feeling it 💔
Thank you to my hardworking & loyal staff members for always making sure that our dogs are getting out as much as possible and that their lives have enrichment throughout the day . It’s not easy but you are rocking it .
When the kennels & cages are cleaned for the day, and all of our animals are fed & exercised…that’s when we get to go through the donations and disperse them to the right location so that we can get $$$ from what you guys drop off ( The Barking Cat , the Red Barn or House of Consignment )
Whoever donated the “Jigglin George New Life Exerciser-“ THANK YOU 😂😂 Some of the things that we see come through here are pretty unique but this one right here takes the cake !

Luna found a buddy and his name is Tux♥️♥️ these two hit it off GREAT and it is so amazing to see Luna slowly find her tribe . So we’ve got two dog friendly love muffins waiting for YOU at DVHS. They have one thing in common: they don’t like cats 😅♥️
