Enrichment time often means spending some quiet one on one time with our animalsā¦.well, we all do it differently š¤£š¤£
Nancy & Erik have quite the relationship but hey, itās what makes her happy ā¤ļøš¤£ This girl needs a home! She prefers to be the only dog but could perhaps tolerate a calm, submissive dog companion (we would be willing to discuss that !) She will chase cats but will not intentionally harm them and she loves kids . Nancy attaches herself to her people quite quickly so anybody coming in will need to be introduced appropriately so that she doesnāt feel the need to protect her people from the people coming to visit . Sheās around 3 years old , spayed , house trained and super sweet .
We LIVE for the updates we get from all of our adopters ! I almost spit out my coffee when I saw this from someone who adopted a cat from us recently š¤£Donāt worry -heās just fine š¤£š¤£

'A lot of my artwork is based on self-expression and aesthetic pleasure.
I spend a lot of my time being out in nature and being around a multitude of animals. Having a lot of time spent with both, I have experienced the many stages of life and death. Death is a part of living, and I like to view it as something that can be beautiful.
A lot of my work is a combination of life and/or death, with real or faux flora. I use a wide range of different meduims, ranging from 3D printed items, epoxy resin, acrylics, watercolors, embroideries, and much more.

Zeek STILL needs a home . Heās wonderful in many ways but we are recommending that he not live with kids under the age of 12 (unless your kid is super dog savvy ) due to his possessive behavior with anything thatās his . He has a major crush on Luna our female pitbull at DVHS but doesnāt get along with cats .
We have MANY dogs waiting to go home and our dog adoptions have been very slow . If youāre in a position to even foster one of our dogs at this time , we would love to hear from you . At a minimum we are taking on average 4 calls a day from people looking to surrender a dog or multiple dogs . Sadly the demand for our services by far outweighs the number of dogs we are placing. Times are tough and all shelters are feeling it š
Thank you to my hardworking & loyal staff members for always making sure that our dogs are getting out as much as possible and that their lives have enrichment throughout the day . Itās not easy but you are rocking it .
