Just over a week until the Fort Huachuca MWR Annual Doggie Dip! It's the end of the swimming season, and you and your furry friend are invited to join us on Saturday, Sept. 14, 8-10am at Irwin Pool for this awesome event! 🐕💦

Dahlie Dog Studios will be there to photograph your favorite memories of the day, offering raffle baskets and contest prizes along with the other amazing local businesses!

$10 per person includes entry for one dog and a free shirt! Extra shirts are $10, and extra dogs $5 (one dog per handler). Call (520) 533-2004 for questions and to preregister to ensure shirt size.

Hey, it’s me, Signal Sammy. I was doing some refresher training, and Monday attacked!
I know what you’re thinking, but IT’S NOT OUR FAULT!!! While U.S. Army Fort Huachuca works hard to get us back online, make the most of your Monday.

It’s a beautiful day, and you just got paid. Take a walk by the Greely Hall Bistro, or take a selfie by the Signal Statue. Me? I’m going to give a high paw to my owner, Nicole Chrusciel, who just leveled up to field grade officer. Shout out to all the captains who made it to field grade today. Lunch is on you.

Are you ready to pick a puppy!? The Nancy J. Brua Animal Care Center has 9 puppies that will become available for adoption starting tomorrow! Stop by beginning at noon to see the puppies. Adoption applications will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis. The shelter is open from noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

Did you know adoption fees at the shelter cover sterilization, the first set of vaccinations, a complete physical exam, a City dog license, and a microchip implant at no additional charge? At $75 that’s an incredible deal and through the end of the month the fee for dogs is just $50, as the shelter wraps up its Dog Days of Summer Adoption Special!
