We pride ourselves on providing the best medical care for your pets and incorporating you, the owner, into our veterinary family. You can expect exceptional service from every phone call to every visit. Our 3 Doctors, 20 Technicians, 4 Client Care Specialists and 4 support staff are eager to help you with all of your pet care needs. New Frontier Animal Medical Center has voluntarily sought accredi

tation by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) since 1996. In order to be AAHA accredited we regularly have our practice evaluated by an expert to ensure that we comply with the highest in veterinary care standards. This means that you can be sure your pet is receiving the best possible care. We offer complete in-house, quality-controlled laboratory tests and advanced radiography techniques. The facility uses modern and safe anesthesia equipment and monitoring devices. Our intensive care unit allows us to hospitalize serious cases; we also work closely with the specialty centers in Tucson for cases that require 24 hour monitoring. Our page is intended to educate pet owners, inform Cochise County residents of upcoming events and provide a resource for individuals interested in pet rescue. New Frontier Animal Medical Center does not necessarily agree with the opinions posted and is not responsible for any issues that may arise as the result of user interaction.

Our friends at Horse'n Around Rescue have asked us to spread the word about Otto and Heike, two special dogs they are currently fostering. They have experienced a lot of loss recently with one of their humans passing away and the other going into a care facility, so they need to stay together. If you are interested in giving Otto and Heike their forever home, please give Theresa a call at 520-266-0236.

The Nancy J. Brua Animal Care Center is over capacity with dogs and is looking for help from the community!

If you have been thinking about adopting this is the perfect time. If you cannot adopt fully, we do offer a foster program for those who are willing to help. Under certain circumstances the shelter does offer a Foster to Adopt program where you can take a dog home to see if it is the right dog for you! You can view available pets by visiting https://www.sierravistaaz.gov/our-city/departments/animal-care-and-control/pet-adoptions-licenses.

For those who cannot adopt, we are always looking for volunteers to walk, socialize, make enrichment toys, and bathe shelter dogs to help get them adopted! Volunteers do have to fill out an application that can be found by stopping into the shelter. Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older to volunteer alone or youth may volunteer if accompanied by a parent.

To fall in love with your furever family member please stop by the shelter at 6799 E. Highway 90 during business hours, Tuesday through Friday 10a.m. through 5p.m. and Saturdays 10a.m. through 2p.m.

***UPDATE*** Haley has two potential, wonderful forever homes lined up. Thank you all for the love and kindness sent Haley’s way!

This beautiful girl is Haley. She is 5 months old and was relinquished to our team a couple of weeks ago because she was very ill and diagnosed with distemper. One of our team members took her in as a foster and has taken over her care and treatment. Haley is much better and currently showing no signs of distress. She is an absolute sweetheart; great with people, other dogs and cats. It’s now time for her to find her forever home. If anyone is interested in adding Haley to your family please reach out to Jazmine at 719-244-4305.

Vixen is a 1 year old, spayed Tortie. Missing from North Catalina and Ocotillo. Extremely friendly. Comes to "Vixen," "Vixey" out a good old fashioned "pspsps". Got out yesterday.
Please call Ashleigh at (520) 236-4288.
