I am happy to announce that I am able to resume offering mobile veterinary services. I am now established in Sierra Vista and am available to serve the Cochise and Santa Cruz county areas.
Since the birth of my son, Oliver, in September I am scaled back in hours and am available by appointment only. I am currently making appointments for At-Home Euthanasia and Large Animal services.
For small animal care, I am able to see surgeries and appointments at Jackson Vet Services in Sierra Vista.

Merel Huff (Rodenburg) grew up in Willcox, AZ. She has been involved in the veterinary field and animal agriculture since her youth, raising horses and learning and growing through the Willcox FFA chapter. After earning an Animal science degree at the University of Arizona she moved to Oklahoma to pursue her Veterinary degree from Oklahoma State University. While in Oklahoma, she met her husband Matthew.
After working in bovine and mixed animal practice in New Mexico and Missouri, the opportunity arose for her family to make the move back to hometown Willcox.\
Merel and Matthew are so grateful to be able to call the Willcox valley home again, and excited to be able to provide a service to the people and animals in this underserved area!
Our vision for starting this practice was to be a community-minded service that provides for the needs of our rural community, where we treat people like family and create a comfortable and easy environment for pets and people. By operating as a housecall practice, Dr. Merel aims to provide care to animals at home. Our hope is to eliminate the hassle of long travel with your animal to seek veterinary care, as well as decrease stress and fear in pets. Dr. Merel will be able to provide vaccines and wellness care, bloodwork and sick animal evaluations, minor injuries and surgery, end of life and pain management planning, and peaceful,at-home euthanasia.
In addition to small animal primary care, our veterinary services also include equine and farm animal patients. These services include wellness and preventative care, equine dental, herd health, reproductive services, sick animal exams, and regulatory services.
