And we end the week with Stevie(left), Beth (right) and Tamra! Stevie joined us early this summer and jumped right in picking up policy/procedure with ease and transitioned right into mobile. She loves surgery days, working with exotics and learning from the staff. Stevie is working her way to vet school and we couldn’t be prouder! Beth is no stranger to veterinary medicine. She has been working with Dr. Shannon on mobile for years and learned on the job. The one thing people often comment on is Beth’s customer service! She goes above and beyond to care for our clients and patients. Last, but not least, is Tamra! Tamra has worked with Dr. Shannon nearing 10 years and is her right hand person. She is the resident exotic expert and office manager for C&P mobile. Her skills and knowledge along with her passion for the patients she cares for set her apart. It takes every person playing their part to do what these ladies do. We hope you have enjoyed learning more about these incredible team members this week! We’re lucky to have them. Be sure to thank your vet nurse next time you see them.

Today we’re highlighting Aubrey, Laurie and Nicole! Aubrey is a LVMT and our newest addition - but not new to SMVC! She was our first student from the CSTCC program over 2 years ago. She hit the ground running and started working at both locations. She enjoys anesthesia and has recently started assisting in that area! Laurie has been with us for almost a year and is one of our Veterinary Assistants. She is hard working and dedicated to the quality of care provided to our patients. She is fear free certified and has her CPDT certificate with experience training sport and hunting dogs. Nicole has been with the practice for over 10 years and works behind the scenes making sure the clinic has what we need and attending to client and patient needs. She is one of our LVMT’s and had a big hand in setting up some practices and procedures. These ladies are invaluable assets to the practice!

Drumroll please… Today we feature Kara and Mikayla. Kara has been with the practice for almost one year. In that time she has grown with her skills and started taking lead on surgery days. She loves doing dental cleanings and taking care of your fur babies. She has a special fondness for the smaller spicy patients! Mikayla joined our practice spring of this year. She has an associates and bachelors in veterinary technology and will be taking her VTNE in the upcoming future. She is also one of our dual employees who works both in the clinic and on the mobile side. These ladies have been great additions to the practice this year and we’re excited to see them grow with us!

In celebrating the week let’s highlight Sarah and Savanna. Sarah has been with the practice almost 2 years and in that time has moved up and taken the awesome responsibility of being our lead licensed veterinary technician! She is a key part of training our new staff in onboarding and keeping the clinic daily tasks on track! Thank you for the goodies! Next, we have Savanna! She has been with the practice on and off since 2022. She is in school to become an LVMT and we’re all rooting for her! She is a wonderful asset to have in caring for patients and always willing to do what needs to be done. As you can see, our pumpkin contest is coming up and we couldn’t pass up a picture with sweet Olive’s look a like! We are so grateful to have these ladies as a part of our team and look forward to what the future holds!
