Did you know more pets go missing on the 4th of July than any other day of the year? Here are some tips to ensure a safe 4th for your pet! 🎆

🧨 Keep collars with id tags on pets

🧨 Keep pets indoors or in secure place if possible

🧨 Call your veterinarian ahead to discuss a plan if fireworks stress/scare your pet.

Dr. Roach and her dog Annie traveled to Clearwater Elementary School, where she attended school as a child, to chat with kids about pet care and what it takes to be a veterinarian. Annie went along to meet the kids and show how a few of the tools work. As you can see in the pictures below I think everyone had a great time.

Friday, June 7 from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM we will be at the Mathews City Hall Nutrition Center. Dr. Roach along with our staff will be in town for what we hope to be an annual Rabies clinic. Rabies will be $20.00 dollars. We will have other discounted vaccinations and heartworm testing along with prevention.

Chief is 4 years old. His owner has had him since he was a pup. He’s needing to rehome due to moving. He has NOT been around kids. He gets excited around people, wants to lick them. He has NOT been with other dogs. Does good with visitors per/owner. Owner keeps him inside and on a lead outside. He is full blooded Husky with papers. He needs to be updated on vaccination owner is willing to help. ‼️ Delta Veterinary Clinic has no other information on Chief.
