To help you prepare your pets for the upcoming fireworks and thunderstorms of July, we have placed our Thunderease items on sale for the month of June while supplies last. We have DAP for dogs and Feliway for cats. We have diffusers, refills, sprays for both dogs and cats and collars for dogs.

Having your dog come when called is a highly sought after goal for many dog guardians. When your dog has a fantastic recall, the world opens wide for them and they can truly enjoy some wonderful off leash experiences. It is also a matter of safety. The ability to call your dog to you with an immediate response can save their lives. In this one hour workshop, we will teach you the beginning steps towards that recall goal. Following our guidance, you will have what you need to continue working towards a solid recall. You will have the information you need to take it further on your own if you choose, or take another class with us in the future for more direction. This is a two series class.

It isn't good for our bodies or theirs for them to constantly be pulling on the leash. They aren't doing it to be ornery or "dominant". They just haven't learned that there is another way. This one hour class will give you the beginning steps for teaching your dog to walk with you on a loose leash. You will have the information you need to take it further on your own if you choose, or take another class with us in the future for more direction. This is a two series class.

Engage You Dog! will teach you ways to engage your dog to gain their attention even in distracting environments. This focus is needed for teaching loose leash walking and recall (having your dog come when called) as well as just plain useful all around. This is a single session class.

All students must take this class before they can take either Recall Magic! or Walk with Me.

Darlene Colmar will be teaching Intro to Companion Events starting Saturday June 15th at 9:30am. Don't delay - there are only 2 spots left!

Have you ever thought that your dog would be really good at agility or nosework or was a candidate for conformation? This 6 week long class will give you the foundational skills needed in Competitive Sports as well as some of the specific skills and exercises used in Conformation, Obedience, Rally, Nosework and Agility. It will also include how to register with AKC in order to sign up for and participate in trials.

Good Evening,

We will be open this Saturday and Sunday (This weekend only) for doggie daycare due to Bluefest. You will need to make a reservation. There is an extra charge for unreserved drop offs. Hours of doggie daycare 8am-6pm. It will be a flat rate of $30 per dog.

For existing clients, please make a reservation. For NEW clients, please call our office to set up an account. We would like to do a meet and greet with your pet before coming to daycare

Darlene Colmar will be teaching STAR Puppy starting Saturday April 27th at 11am and there is 1 spot available. This is a 6 week long course (with a break for Memorial Day weekend) that meets once per week for one hour.

This class is for puppies from 4-10.5 months old who have had all of their puppy shots. Socialization, Training, Activity, Responsible owner is what S.T.A.R. Puppy stands for. This class focuses on all the things every puppy and owner need to have a great start together.

Puppy behaviors addressed include: Freedom of aggression towards people and other puppies, possessiveness, being comfortable in their collar/harness, walking on a loose leash, sit, down, stay, come, leave it, and being approached by strangers and dogs in a calm, safe manner.

The skills in S.T.A.R. Puppy classes are practical and functional. Teaching puppies to tolerate and even enjoy grooming, handling, and basic exams of the ears, feet, and mouth will result in well-mannered puppies that veterinarians are happy to see.

Gail Skee or Erin Bibles will be teaching Recall Magic! Thursdays May 30th and June 6th at 6pm. This is a two week long class focused on giving you the skills to teach your dog a solid recall. Engage Your Dog! is a prerequisite to take this class.
