Happy Feet Pet Services is currently closed for training. Thank you for those of you who have expressed interest in my services. I plan to reopen for basic obedience classes for puppies and young adult dogs sometime in 2024. I will post on my business page. I wish you all a blessed, safe and joyful Holiday season!

I recently have begun to return to my passion 'training pets and their caretakers'. Introducing Cricket, an energetic, lovable 4 month puppy!..Cricket is being trained not to 'mouth, jump on people and return when called'. The white sweet girl w/the blue eyes is his older sister.

I wish I'd known sooner but today I learned that su***de among vetenarians is a nationwide crisis that few people know about and is not understood. I was blown away by this tragic loss of life by those compassionate doctors who care for our beloved furry animal-children.

Not One More Vet is a non-profit organization providing support to veterinary professionals to prevent su***de in the profession.

My new goal I'm aspiring to. Add 'behavior teacher' which delves deeper into why, how and when dogs react to situations that cause conflict with them and their family...

May we have everybody's attention please! We have a new Academy graduate to present!

Jenny Dag began working in adoptions at the Arizona Humane Society and quickly moved to their behavior department, where she has been for nearly eight years. She now supervises B&T staff, the public course offerings and works personally with fearful and reactive dogs.

All dogs are worthy of love, a good forever home and lots of happy times...

"He was abandoned and hit by a car. He lost his eye and his little leg but he fought and came out victorious!!! He loves life and always shows it. I adopted him because I fell in love with him at first sight!!! He is my hero and inspiration my! Happy month from my own hero. The one who saved me from depression, who changed my life and who is different but not less!!!! Different does not mean problematic. May all animals with disabilities find the family that they deserve it"

Yes! My 3 cats 2 dogs are our kids. Unable to have our own children my husband and I desperately needed to nuture, take care of and have them enjoy life with us.

"He's not your kid."
As I tuck him in every night.
"He's not your kid."
As I make my breakfast, I scramble him up some eggies and make sure he gets the most important meal of the day.
"He's not your kid."
As I do my laundry, I make sure his blankets/jackets and bedding (he still sleeps with us every night in OUR bed) are also clean.
"He's not your kid."
As I nursed him back to his optimal health the first few months I had him.
"He's not your kid."
As I just changed my entire career and life so I could be home with him more during the days and save for our future because I was sick of seeing him so sad on the furbo.
"He's not your kid."
As I hang his coat/blanket (one of many) on the coat hanger next to ours.
"He's not your kid."
As I pick up all his toys and place them back on his bed for him to through them everywhere as soon as he wakes up from his nap.
"He's not your kid."
As I take him out yet again to play and run in the snow while my fingers are numb but he's only a puppy for so long.
"He's not your kid."
Yea, he's not my kid.
He's my heart. My world. My baby.
And for those who can't see the similarities between a puppy and a child and for those who really think a dog is really "just a dog," you must never have found your heart dog and I pray one day, you do.

We've tried a variety of veggies to offer our dogs (raw, steamed or boiled). So far nothing is eaten! I will now try these 2 veggies since I'm always preparing a salad.
