Yes, you should schedule pet sitters, but here I mean assign family and friends in your home blocks of time to watch your companion animals. Each person should be in charge of potty breaks, counter surfing counter measures, preventing jumping on guests, etc.

It's easy to become distracted, so make a care calendar ahead of time.
