🍒🍒 Rio 🍒🍒
Rio is 4 years old and approximately 11 hands.
Rio has been hauled to the high country and hunted off
of; rode both day and night, by our 13 year old. He
rides and hunts with my husband who rides a four year
old, Rio has never had a problem with her in the trailer,
on the trail or in camp.
Rio has had a a rope swung off of him, we have not
roped live cattle off of him. I have worked Rio over a
jump, see below video, on the ground not on his back.
Rio is smart and willing. He has a gentle spirit and a
kind eye. Rio is quiet in the yard around generators,
dogs, other horses, ponies, trucks, trailers and tonka
trucks. Rio will paw the ground, not constantly, but he will paw the ground when tied; regardless of tie time.
If you ask me if Rio is broke for a kiddo, I will ask you
how well they ride. Rio has been rode by a 13 year old
down to a four year old. He himself is still young and
learning, if you are confident so is he. Rio will do
nothing but continue his training until he is sold.
Rio was purchased to break and sell, this is why we are
now offering him. Our 13 year old son has had a large
part of breaking Rio.
Good ponies are tough to come by, ours have the
right start to go the direction you want them too.
