I have finally generated a letter to send out to the national humane society , the ocala banner and animal activists group. I will post a copy of the letter for all to see and review before I mail it. It will address the concerns of the amount of kills at baseline, the lack of supervision and protocol that should be followed by the humane society and city officials that oversee the contracts and funding for the humane society. It will address the lack of accountability to insure All these funds are spent as intended and that the employees are mandated to report into state inspectors of all monies spent and the main concern that all animals are being treated in a humane compassionate way that is not detrimental to their well being. I feel a need to make it be well known to both the public and government officials that should be making the animal control unit and humane Society of baseline is being held accountable for their actions.. I find it hard to believe that everyone knows over 180 dogs were euthanized at baseline, a no kill shelter , over a 6 month period of time. Does the public know that they are not doing any type of rehabilitative training to help these fur babies become adoptable if deemed difficult . FOR 2 YEARS I PERSONALLY have been effected by their inappropriate handling of my dog. Their gross negligence, their lack of compassion, and unprofessional handling of my situation is just one example of many. It's time these people are held accountable for their action. It's time for the public know what is really going in from the total misuse of funds to the mistreatment and even torture that these animals have endured under the hands of those that are supposed to help and protect. Stay tuned for letters that will be sent, evidence of this will be uncovered and shown . It is up to us to stop the corruption and protect our beloved animals that can't protect themselves
