Hello everyone it’s Alan and I just want everyone to know I have sent all the help home because of this bad weather coming.
Don’t want any of our Bow Wow’s family on the road or getting hurt god for bid.
So if ya are calling in today please leave a message and we will get to you first thing in the morning
I am here and the gate is open should you stop in be glad to see you. But as y’all know I have had to stop answering the phones because I can’t hear on the even with the hearing assistant phone Thank you for your understanding god bless and please be safe. Should something happen as always I will be glad to help anyway I can.

So for my Bow Wows family as you know I have been waiting for my newest grandson who was supposed to be along on the 20th of this month well guess what!
He’s no longer waiting and he is on the way so by morning we going to have a new addition to the family.

Update: So today the catheter was taken out but I have run into a another complication
Seem I have blood clots in my bladder and have been ordered 24 to 48 hours bed rest so we will be closed for grooming a couple more days and I do apologize was hoping to hit the ground running and getting caught up and I will just going to be a couple more days.
I am so sorry for the delays but this is truly out of my control
And I want to thank each and everyone of you for sticking by us in this time.
I am so proud of my staff there ability to carry on even with there leader out they have cared for everything just like it was the own I love you guys.

Update: No cancer Thank God.
Everything gets turn upside down when one gets sick and no matter how much we plan for something like this to happen it will always go south when ya need it.
So now our office is out sick poor Heather has been sick now for a week and that’s why you are not getting through on the phone so please be just a little more patient and we will get through this.
I am going to start doing a few small dog the 18th to kind of work myself back up. This surgery has taken a lot out of me but I will bounce back it’s just going to take a little time.
I return to the surgeon on Monday and we start to plan my next surgical procedure witch will be a little time out I hope as I still haven’t recovered from this one. This getting old ain’t for pansies LOL
So I will get everything back on path I promise. I miss y’all and all your fur baby’s

Update: well went yesterday to have catheter removed and went 16 hours without peeing ended up back in the hospital with my bladder at a point of rupture so they did a emergency catheter install and drained off 3 pints of blood and urine this was all most life threatening had my bladder of ruptured I was as good as dead. So they said they just don’t know a groomer who need to be back with his fur family. I miss each and everyone of you dearly and ask to please be patient I will be back and I am going to need to see all of my fur family and the darn bills must be paid so as fast as I can heal enough I will be back at my table making magic happen and getting everyone Bow Wowed.

Well as most know and for those who didn’t know.
Yesterday I had a surgery done and it didn’t go as expected and I will
require a small amount of time to recover.
We will be open and I may or may not be in the office our boarding will continue as normal and please feel free to call Heather for your grooming appointments.
I will be back in full health in no time at all.
Please be patient I promise I will get everyone caught up. Thank you

So being a believer that we are put places for a reason.
This morning I pull into the gas station and hear this little kitten crying I find this little gray kitten scared to death backed into a corner thinking that’s a great place for it so I left it.
Went into the store bought my scratch off lotto ticket come back out and hear the kitten someplace else so before I find it a guy pulls out and out from under the truck comes the black cat in a panic trying to chase the truck out of the parking lot and right buy the road out jumps this little gray kitten and running for the road so here I go running to get the cat before it gets hit on the Hwy as luck would have it a truck went buy and the cat dipped down and hid in the grass right beside the road I was able to catch the cat before it realized I was there and took it back to it’s mom so the kitten is safe scared as hell but safe.
Now I go back to my truck and scratch my lotto ticket and won a $100.00. Not bad for a few minutes work!!! JS

We here at Bow Wows have the pleasure of introducing Jackie to our family.
She will be helping out in our grooming department and as you can see she is very good at what she does. Her love of animals is just like ours.
I myself am proud to have her join our team and feel very lucky to have her experience in our little grooming shop
I said to watch for new and exciting things coming and now that we have secured Jackie just watch what happens next your not going to believe it. I promise it’s a big one.

This is Critter the brown male Chihuahua and Radar the tricolor Jack Russell.
They are at Bow Wows Pet Spa there daddy is in hospice and don’t look like he’s going to get to come home
I have been ask to find them great loving homes. They lived with a large dog and a kitty kitty so they do get along very well with others
I don’t have the exact age on either dog but can guess 7 or 8 years old.
Now I would love to see them go together if at all possible but they can be split.
If you can give these to just a small space and a lot of heart please call the shop(352-625-9697 again thank you very much Alan

She is a 5 year old very loving I have known her most all of her life but I am not sure of most details
She needs a loving forever home she don’t do well with the cat but she loves everything else.

Ok I need to address what has happened here at Bow Wows Pet Spa.

We have lost one of our family members here. Mitchell is no longer here she has moved on to other adventures in her life. She will be missed by her Bow Wow family and of course we wish her nothing but the best.

So with that being said I ask everyone to please be patient as we train new family members to fulfill all of your pet needs.
I promise to each and everyone we will get everything back in order. And to remember that there are five of us to make thousands of people and pets happy. I am very proud-to even have the opportunity to serve our guest and community.
Just keep a open eye new and exciting things in the works not only are we rebuilding your trust but our facility.

As the 4th of July is coming so fast just a friendly reminder of your dog and fireworks. They just don’t match You dogs hearing is so much more sensitive than yours so if it’s loud to you it’s horrific to them.
So if your going to have a fun loud Independence Day you can board your family member with us in our clean quite and large 5x18 indoor/outdoor runs.
I will have extra staff on to see that your family member stay is a calm one a little extra petting and hugging goes a long way.
Book now we are filling up fast.

This is a tick that was fully engorged on a dog and fell off. It was put in a ziplock bag and they waited to see what happened. It’s been in the bag for 2 weeks with no air flow and started to lay eggs about 5 days ago, continuing to do so. Imagine not knowing this was on your animal and it fell off in your house. You’d have 1000’s of baby ticks. GROSS! Please make sure your animals are currently being treated with flea and tick prevention. We know how prevalent they are in our area.
