Rosie
Rosie has received 30 days of foundation training which has consisted of, leading, picking up her hooves, lunging, wearing a bit, wearing a saddle, long lining, and having a rider lean above her from both sides. Rosie is not broke yet, but if you were to spend time and do some more prep work from the ground she should do great under saddle! Rosie is a very energetic girl and needs patience and CONSISTENCY because she was rescued from a bad situation, correct body language is VERY important when working with this horse, so she would be best suited for someone with training experience in working with rescues and or a confident amateur with a mentor, she would be an amazing and rewarding project to take on. Rosie is a big pleaser so if she knows what you’re asking she will try her heart out for you! She is SUCH a sweetheart and we would LOVE to see her find her forever home. ❤️
Let’s talk about Rescued Horses
Shakira is still looking for her forever home! She will need someone who has time to spend with her, building up her confidence. Shakira is mid-teens, green broke, good on the ground. Needs miles under saddle. Stands for farrier and trailers well. Schedule time to come see her!
Rosie has exceeded our expectations after only a week with Jasmine Odell! This beautiful ~10 year old can be visited at Odell Horse Training, LLC until next month or when we returns to the rescue in the New Year! We’ll continue sharing her progress, but don’t wait! Beautiful Mystic has completed her 30 days of training and is ready for adoption. She is available as a pasture pet only!
She was easy to halter, walked quietly with me to the arena and is enjoying some exercise time!
She does require dorm gel for her hind hoof trims, but is fine with her front. She does pick up all 4 for cleaning out.

Shakira after 30 days training and is looking for her new home. She is considered very green broke, she needs lots of miles under saddle and a consistent training routine to build up her confidence before hitting trails and or becoming safe for an amateur rider, but she is such an incredibly sweet and WILLING mare. Shakira currently stands at about 14-14.1hh so she would be an AMAZING fit for someone looking for a cute little project horse to train up, and if you want to come out and see her she will surely steal your heart! After some undersaddle miles Shakira will excel at, light trails, arena riding, poles, and with proper conditioning and training she could do some low crossrails. Our 2 mares are doing so well in training. They wrapped up week 3 at Odell Horse Training, LLC with another week to go!
Shakira, our stunning black Arab had her first ride under saddle and did very well. She’s such a sweet lady and will be looking for her forever home at the end of the month!
Mystic is our beautiful stout draft-cross who has come so far in building trust with Jasmine Odell! Adopt her and she’ll become your best friend! She’ll get her first ride this week!
