NBK Bangor Veterinary Treatment Facility

NBK Bangor Veterinary Treatment Facility This page is to promote the veterinary treatment facility on NBK Bangor.

We service all active duty military, reservists, retirees, and can provide health certificates for our DoD civilians that are on orders overseas. The NBK Bangor Veterinary Treatment Facility and its staff are dedicated to providing exceptional veterinary care to both the hardworking military working dogs (MWDs) of the Puget Sound Region as well as to the pets of Active Duty service members, their

families, and retirees. Achieving our goal of providing world-class care for our deploying MWDs allows them to return to the fight and protect our service members. We also understand the value of the human animal bond in the health and well-being of our service members and their families and strive to exceed our clients’ expectations by treating their pets as if they were our own. All the utmost respect, honesty, and compassion as we work as a team to maintain and improve their faithful companions’ health.

Good afternoon,
The clinic will be closing at 2:30pm as the internet is completely out.
Also wanted to advise everyone that if you have been on the waitlist for appointments, please give our office a call as we are able to schedule appt for august 🙂

We also want everyone to know that we understand how stressful moving is and we are here to help in anyway we can. We do ask that you are patient with us as there is a lot of paperwork needed for overseas moves and there may be mutliple calls to you requesting paperwork.

As alway have a beautiful afternoon

Happy April everyone 🙂

We have some new changes happening at the clinic so please be patient with us.

1. Dr. Thompson our primary wellness Dr. will be back from maternity leave 🙂

2. We are slowly trying to open the clinic to the community so please be understanding with new protocols coming in place.

3. We ask if you do want to come into the clinic with your pet there are some guidelines to be followed.
-only one chaperone will be allowed with pet (18 and older)
- masks must be worn in the building at all times.
- if you need estimate for services provided before appointment please let us know.

If you are not able to follow these we ask that the appt remain curbside for everyone’s comfort.

4. Friendly reminder to please be kind! We understand that it is extremely difficult for your pets to be seen anywhere and unfortunately that goes for military facilities as well. We are doing our best to not book up more that 3 weeks in advance so we don’t have a long wait period.

Our Command has started implementing strict guidelines when it comes to respect.
Veterinary care at this facility is a privilege not a right.
Disrespect, foul language or screaming towards staff will compromise your ability to be seen at our facility for future services.

As always we look forward to seeing YOU and your pets at their appointments.
