BOTTLE BABIES!
Our rescue has all supplies provided at no cost to fosters!
Bottle babies need to be fed several times throughout the day. So we would need a foster who will be home to bottle feed and relieve their bowels w the towel or cloth method. Gentle rubbing to help them relax and release their bowels. We can show you how to do this!

It has been nearly impossible to get affordable spays and neuters. Our rescue is not getting enough donations to cover vet care so it comes out of my pocket.
Please do not complain about how long it takes to get these things done.
Its been very hard to get partnerships and get appointments especially because our rescue mostly gets large breed dogs.

Be patient with us. Theres more behind the scenes than you realize.

The average dog spay or neuter is 600 to 1200. Our rescue doesnt even break even with our adoption fees. They are less than what we spend on the dogs care and food and vet fees etc.

03/18/2025

We are a small rescue.
MJ mostly does everything. Please show some compassion when texting her. Getting vet appointments at an affordable rate is hard for any rescue. MJ works like 40 or more hours a week and has 3 kids. One is disabled and has a lot of medical issues and appointments. Not to mention she is still dealing with a horrible divorce!
For F%$@ sake! It shouldnt matter how long it takes just be patient! She cares about all these animals more than any of you will know or understand!
Its hard to get spay and neuter appointments! And she is only 1 person! We dont get paid to help animals! So clam tf down!

We are being asked to pull this pup from stockton animal shelter (a kill shelter)
The only info known about him is listed on his bio. Which is not much.

We cannot pull without a foster in Washington to take him.

Apply on our website to foster this boy.

We have sad news to share

Cyber was incredibly brave and strong. He persevered through a lot of neglect before he got to us.

Cyber when he went to the vet last week had mildly elevated liver enzymes but healthy kidneys and everything else minus the hernia and his heart and lungs were good.

Today while driving we noticed he looked slightly yellow. While driving he passed next to us. It was peaceful and pain free and he was surrounded by those who loved him dearly.

I will not tolerate this rescue being questioned about this. I spoke with multiple vets about this. Showed his records. All believed if he was showing us he wanted to fight that there was a good chance for him to recover and live a few more years in a good and loving home. They said it wasn't necessarily a guarantee that he was or wasnt in pain. But he wasnt showing signs of being in pain. He was tail wagging and happy as could be. Smiling constantly. He just needed his echo appt which wasn't until next week sadly. Then he could be cleared for surgery.
Cyber tried his best but his body decided it was time. He waited for us. I had surgery this morning and he waited for me to pick him up from my friends house. And he passed right next to me. It was quiet and calm and peaceful.

We are having him cremated and his story will live on in our rescue forever. He will always be with us. He was loved dearly by this rescue. For the last week he was shown what it is like to be a free dog. Never kenneled and never alone. Not even once. He was always with us. Everywhere we went.

He will not be forgotten

Rest in peace Cyber, till we meet again

We had a major change of plans

Cybers test results showed mildly elevated liver enzymes, kidneys were ok, and all other labs showed no signs of IBD or EPI. He has a heart murmur on both sides. Doc believes he was born with the hernia and that something shifted and caused the issue for him to be unable to digest food. We have to do an echocardiogram to check his heart before surgery. He also has an eye ulcer and entropian which basically means his skin flap and fur is folded inwards and is irritating his eye. He is on eye medication to help with it. Obviously this is the less serious issue going on. Its likely that Cyber will have some possible chronic health issues in the future but if caught early can be managed and maintained through diet or medication.

What was going to be Cybers last day was a day that showed us that he is not ready to leave this earth. He wants to fight and he has so much s***k left in him. I believe he was telling and showing me that he can make it through this. And we want to give him that chance. I dont know what was true about his past from what info was provided to us. But all we know was in April of 2024 he was not this skinny and then October he was emaciated like this and has not gotten better. Despite whatever he has been through he is a fighter!!!!

WE ARE GOING TO FIGHT FOR HIM!
WE ARE GOING TO TRY TO DO THE HERNIA SURGERY!

This will be the most expensive rescue case we have ever had. But we will not give up.

If everyone shared our fundraiser and everyone who saw it donated 5, 10, or 20 dollars we can likely reach our goal of 10k very quickly!
Abdominal hernia surgeries cost anywhere from 1600 to 10,000

So in total we would like to get as close to 10k as possible! We cannot do the surgery without the funds!

Cyber also needs eye meds while we do this because he cannot do the eye surgery until the hernia surgery is completed. And we will have to wait a few weeks after to do that one. So 2 separate surgeries. That will be an additional cost as well.

Finally....

Tonight was tough. It was tough for us as a rescue but also tough for me as a mom. I had to pick up my kids from school and prek and daycare and then do dinner and meds for my disabled kiddo while trying to find a new ER vet that wouldnt make us wait 6 to 9+ hours after we already waited almost 6 today. Cyber is in critical condition. He hasnt kept down food for a week. Hes emaciated. Hes been emaciated for a long time. But that does not mean he is not critical. He could easily go into organ failure for being so malnourished and dehydrated for so long.
Cyber has a long story. We dont know all of it, but what we do know is that he has been through a lot.

This is what we know for sure. His most recent owners surrendered him after trying on their own to help him for a year. When they got him he was sick and they did try to get vet care and fed him daily and tried changing his diet. All of it just wasnt working. He either wouldnt eat, or couldnt keep it down. They tried a lot but in the end realized that they needed to do what was best for him and get him to a rescue to get vet care going. We are very limited for funds so another rescue has stepped up to help us get diagnostics and hospitalization started.

Im hoping to know more about what medical condition has been causing him to have such a hard time with keeping food down and keeping weight on.

As soon as we know more we will post an update.

At least for tonight he is safe, he is warm, he is surrounded by staff who can tend to him. And hopefully he can get some good hydration in him and feel a little bit better.

After we got the run around from 1 er vet we drove over an hour to get him here. Hoping to start his care soon

PACK Rescue has come to our aid to help us get him more treatment for the night as well. As our funds ar every low.

We have worked hard in hopes the owners would agree to surrender and they did.
