We are looking for someone that is outgoing, client service focused, and willing to go the extra mile to improve the client experience. Prior veterinary or medical experience preferred but not required. Working as part of a team you will be responsible for making our clients feel important. Requirements for this position include but are not limited to: answering a multi-line telephone, calling back clients, client education, scheduling appointments, checking clients in/out, assisting with hospital cleaning and maintenance, as well as many other day to day tasks associated with running a high quality, efficient practice.

Dr. Brittany has a special place in her heart for the Norwegian Elkhound. She has had multiple of them through her childhood, veterinary school, and now has the pleasure of meeting them in practice. This little puppy is named Leif and he will grow up to be a fluff ball just like Dr. Brittany’s dog, Gigi.

Welcome Dr. Z!!
Dr. Kathryn Ziegner received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University and her Bachelor of Science from the University of Denver. Kathryn spent the last several years as a general practitioner in Eagle County and loves being a part of the mountain town community. Outside of work, you will find Kathryn hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, and biking with her golden retriever, Rocket. Kathryn is excited to join the Silverthorne Veterinary Hospital team!

PHOTO CONTEST! We need art for the new hospital and want your help! Over the upcoming week we will be having a contest for all of our special patients and clients. We will be accepting a single photo per client. Our staff will be voting for our favorites and we will choose five photos to print and hang in our new hospital. Please submit photos to our email, [email protected] and we will announce our winners at the end of next week.

NOTE - Please make sure all photos are of high quality so that they can be printed and displayed, and include you and your pet’s names. We know you have many photos of your amazing pets but please only submit your one favorite.

This week Silverthorne Vet Hospital has been open for 7 years and we have some exciting news to share. We are moving!! Over the past year we have been building a brand new hospital, only half a mile from our current location. Our new location is 8 times larger than our current space and we are so excited to be able to expand so we can provide additional care to the pets of Summit County. We are planning on opening our doors the end of August and we can’t wait to see you there.
