Things to know:
1. The patch is mid-way down a long drive-way, near the house. Park on grass right before the patch, at the edge of the orchard.
2. There is a self-serve table set up across from the blueberry patch--you can weigh and pay on your own! We most likely cannot make change.
3. We are a small operation and most suitible to small picking needs, up to 20 pounds. Although...you're welcome to pick more if you can! We have 100 large bushes, many of them over 60 years old. Taste as you go along, because there are several different heirloom varieties. Some varieties do best eaten or frozen right away--refrigerate quickly if wanting to eat later. The age of the bushes means they are not cultivated for large-scale picking; berries ripen at an individual pace rather than in huge ripe clumps. However, this also means their taste is INCREDIBLE.
4. We are not certified organic; we are located in a farming area where drift may occur. The blueberries have have been grown organically (never treated with spray) for over 40 years. If you are looking for certified organic blueberries, we're very happy to point you in the right direction.
5. We are child-friendly (please feel free to let your children play on the swings!).
