It has been an interesting summer. I had cataract surgery done in both eyes. I just finished all my eye drops. I can see at a distance quite well -- however my near vision is awful. I can't read anything. I picked up a pair of cheap reading glasses at the drug store -- they don't work very well. I have an appointment tomorrow to get real reading glasses. Hurray! Should be able to read and post again when I get them. This post took more than half an hour.

I just had to share (with permission) this picture. Margo Siebenmorgen bought 4 oz of my new 34% black angora, 33% silk and 34% merino roving and turned her 4 oz into 2204 yards of amazing hand spun. Well done Margo! Thanks for letting me share, Gail.

I wanted to let you know that the carded Batts of Dragon's Fire and Midnight Blue are back in stock. I've also added a new color, Light Lilac and will be discontinuing Blue Bell when the current stock is gone.

All Batts are 30+ grams. There are 2 Batts in each bag (60+ grams) with the bag costing $25 plus postage.

The lilac blossoms are showing off some of our early season lilacs. I wish you could smell them.
