On a side note, this winter has been a struggle for everyone, so we plan on doing another social media contest/fundraiser in the coming week where we’ll also be able to support other small, local businesses!

It's me. I've spent the last week sick as a dog. No matter how much hand sanitizer I use, no matter how much I wipe carts down, even being incredibly hyper sensitive to anyone on this planet touching me...The bug got me. I'm fairly confident it's because I didn't wash off the banana I ate two weeks ago in the solace of my own car before work.

The lack of reviews and $2 stories lately has been due to life. Quarantining myself helped, however much like everyone my budget basically allows for pure survival. I figure I have about two weeks left of this, then the light at the end of the tunnel will be less train coming at me, and more day light.

Thank you all to the core of you that have stuck it out here continuing to support me with all the interactions, likes, comments shares. It doesn't go unnoticed. I still have big plans and ideas, however I always put my family and health first. Much love to everyone. If you see any great deals please tag me. Thank you to everyone that participated in our social media fundraiser! We raised $601 total and after covering costs for gift cards, we still raised well over $450 to help pets in need!

If we’re faced with any additional snow or weather days, we will plan on a similar contest so that we can continue to support other small businesses affected as well!

And for those of you in Iowa, Iowa is ranked 43rd in the nation for protecting animals making it one of the worst states. While many factors contribute to this, you are in a position to make a difference! Did you know that it can be as simple as reaching out to your Legislators requesting stricter laws?

If you missed out on our last round of feral cat houses, please reach out to Blue Grass Community Charitable Drop Off Program or Blessings Boutique! We’ve had an overwhelming amount of requests. We are so happy that they are working hard to help our community cats as well! 

Blue Grass Community Charitable Drop Off Program was able to get a few feral kitty houses done but we have many more to make. You can help by checking your garages, storage areas, etc for foam/insulation board, medium to extra large styrofoam coolers (small ones are not tall enough to use for this), or igloo type coolers. 4 x 8 x 1 sheets of styrofoam insulation board is about $15 a sheet. If you can help us save more homeless babies in any way, it is so very much appreciated ❤
