We brought our retired Classic Mason Jar Candles back for a limited time to help raise funds for our friends over at Rescued. Unfortunately, we didn’t sell as many candles as we hoped at our event last weekend. So we decided that we are going to donate $5.00 from every Classic Mason Jar Candle sold “online” this weekend to Rescued in Silvis, IL to help local vet clinics, animal shelters, rescue groups and other pets in need. We will take orders through Monday, September 2nd @ 5pm CST. 🧡🐾 {*available scents listed below}

Since 1996, we have been making our candles & soy warmer melts with 100% soy that is grown and processed right here in the USA, supporting our American Soybean Farmers. We only use top quality ingredients. NO colorants. NO whitening chemicals and NO harmful fragrance oils. *Our Classic Mason Jar Candles have a 90+ hour burn time. 🧡🐾

🧡 Our Classic Mason Jar Candles are $16.00 each. To order online, simply send us an email at: [email protected] *We will send you an invoice via email that you will be able to pay online via: PayPal, PayPal Credit, Venmo or any major credit/debit card.

🧡 PICK-UP AT RESCUED: When you order, please let us know if you would like us to deliver your order to our friends over at Rescued. Your order will be individually bagged with your name on the outside and your paper invoice inside.

🧡 SHIPPED ORDERS: If your order will be ”shipped“, please be sure to include your shipping address with your order. *We always ship priority mail via USPS. *Shipping fees will vary depending on weight & destination. We always find the least expensive option available to help cut down on shipping fees for all of our customers.

🧡 CURBSIDE PICK-UP: Curbside pick-up is at our home in Silvis, IL Monday-Friday 2pm-6pm. *If you are unable to pick up your order within 3 business days, please have your order shipped. If these days/hours do not work for you, please send us a quick message, we may be able to set up an alternative pick-up for you.

🧡 IMPORTANT NOTE: All orders are filled in the order that payment has been received, so once you pay your invoice, your order will automatically go into our "fulfilment lineup". Once your order has been filled, we will contact you directly and let you know that your order is ready for pick-up and we will give you our address and schedule your pick-up at that time.

Earlier this week one of our longtime supporters saw this sweet little kitten dodging traffic on the I-74 bridge. She stopped her car to save him but was unable to keep him. While we DON’T typically handle adoptions, we know the shelters are all at or beyond capacity so we improvised!
We found this boy a foster and are planning to cover his wellness check and vaccinations and will be covering his neuter. He loves cats and people and we can’t wait to find him his furever home!
Right now his name “Lucky” for obvious reasons!
Please let us know if you’re interested in adopting him!

We’re so grateful to everyone involved that got him to where he’s at! All pets deserve a chance, including this lucky boy! We’ll post updates!

Please help us in bringing home our baby. We brought bronco into rock island animal hospital on 8-26-24 for a distended belly and being lethargic. The vet took blood and did a full abdominal xray. Blood tests were a bit of a concern and the xray show...

Huge thank you to everyone that stopped by the Pawsitively Purrfect Pets In Need Pet Expo this past Sunday!
Honey stopped by this afternoon to drop off some donation money from the event to make a total of over $1000 raised from this event!

This completely exceeded any expectations and we are so thrilled and humbled for all the support, donations, vendors, and volunteers that made this possible!

If you’d like to meet Honey, she’s the unofficial mascot at Cunnick-Collins Life Celebration Center and she’s available for tours and to help plan your next event!

This is an important post. ALL of our local shelters are overwhelmed, overcrowded, and overcapacity!

By supporting our mission, you’re already helping! If we can help keep pets with their owners who might otherwise be surrendered for financial reasons, then that eases the burden on shelters BUT there’s so much more we can all do! ALWAYS consider adoption, make sure your pets are spayed or neutered, make sure your pets are microchipped, consider donating supplies or your time to local shelters, become a foster, tell your friends and family about your cool rescue pets so that they’ll want to rescue too!

We have a responsibility to be a voice for these pets that don’t have one!

Sunday is the day!
Our Pawsitively Purrfect Pets In Need Pet Expo is happening from 1-4 at the Cunnick-Collins Life Celebration Center (off Kimberly Rd, near Dahl Ford Davenport)! Look for signs providing directions to the event!

Here are a few things to note:
➡️ This is a kid friendly and pet friendly event!
➡️ The weather will be warm but most vendors will be inside and pets are welcome inside!
➡️ The Snap Wagon Photo Booth will be there so you can get pics WITH your pets!
➡️ Flavor Train QC and Kona Ice of Davenport will be there so you’ll be able to order food and cool off with lots of shaved ice options!
➡️ There will be additional vendors, raffle items, bake sale items, and more!
➡️ We’ll be there with some fun items for sale, (a few items shown below)!
➡️ This is a great chance to check out this newly renovated and remodeled event center!

When we were contacted about these two litter mates, we knew we needed to help even with our limited funds. Luckily, with the help of the Animal Emergency Center of the Quad Cities and Quad City Animal Welfare Center, we were able to get these babies the help they needed! With so much of our money spoken for (even before we even have it) it was such a relief that we had some of the financial burden taken off us.
Please consider donating to their care and PLEASE remember that vaccinating your pets is so important! It’s often the difference between life and death and the difference between the cost of a vaccine or thousands in vet bills without the guarantee your pet will survive!
Parvo cases are high right now and are taking up a lot of our funds so please be mindful, keep your pets updated on vaccines, and know that there are low cost options for these services! Your choices now can save a life!

Meet Roco & Layla, two adorable puppies who recently came into our care from an emergency situation with Parvo Virus—a deadly virus if left untreated. These little fighters are stable and on the road to recovery, but the medical bills are stacking up. We originally faced over $1,700 in fees, and while our amazing friends at Rescued have generously covered $500, we still need your help to cover the remaining costs.

This is where YOU come in! Every donation, big or small, makes a huge difference. Without your support, we wouldn’t be able to save lives like Roco & Layla’s. Donate by using the QR Code on the graphic or through Facebook!

Several weeks ago, we shared a podcast episode discussing issues involved with rising vet costs and big business. This post from Big Fluffy Dog Rescue reiterates some of the points made and reflects the same frustrations and concerns we experience on a daily basis. It’s also a reminder that big business takeover is not just happening everywhere else. It’s happening here, and chances are that your vet is most likely corporate owned whether they’ve told you or not.
