Our newest arrival, a mini heifer just arrived in the last few hours.

And just like that, after 36 hours, the little bull calf has latched on and is nursing from his mama. We are all very relieved!

Now bottle feeding new calf who is not latching. I have my hands full! None of this would be possible without the help from my fearless and knowledgeable friend Adrianne Cruz who saved the day, helped me create a makeshift squeeze, milk the mama, capture the colostrum to bottle feed the baby. Quite the exciting day!
