Puppies 🐶

The puppies were soooo happy to get a stuffed animal. I love them sooooo much. 🥹🩷 They are getting very playful and love toys now. 😍 They are so intrigued by the kitties too, two of my cats have jumped in their playpen with them and they loved it haha. These puppies are so gentle and sweet and they are learning to sit already 🥹😍 They will probably be getting fixed in 3 weeks and be almost ready to go to new homes while they wait for all their vaccines. I’ll post them on petfinder soon, I had offered them to my followers first but apparently everyone just wants them for free and not think there would be an adoption fee. Not calling any single person out, this was literally multiple people. I understand, but each puppy is going to cost us a lot more than a kitten does to cover their medical fees to make sure they have the best start in life. If you got a free puppy, you would be spending even more than I am to get all of these things done. Or maybe you’d not even get the dog fixed or vaccinated, and that’s exactly how we ended up with these puppies who were dumped on the side of the road. 🤷🏼‍♀️ If you can’t afford an adoption fee, or don’t want to pay an adoption fee, you’re probably not the home I want for my puppies anyways. Sorry, just being honest. I always try to do the right thing for the animals under my responsibility. Anyways, tl;dr they aren’t free, but have a reasonable adoption fee in my opinion, and it’s less than all of the other rescues have puppies listed for on petfinder. http://linktr.ee/shannonsfosters

Seriously…don’t miss out on this absolute gem!! Kevin is such a special and lucky boy. He’s indescribably gorgeous and has the best personality. Look how sweet he is with the babies! These have to be his babies, they love him so much, and he clearly cares for them too. 🩵 They survived hell, this poor guy was literally minutes from death when he was rescued from the storage tub he was locked inside and left in a parking lot in the summer heat. He will never take life for granted, and he has been cherishing every interaction with humans. He knows he is safe. 🩵 I hope for him to get adopted quickly. Please share!! How has the beautiful, sweet, precious, fluffy, amazing Miss Boba not been adopted yet?!? She is the sweetest kitty ever! She is so friendly and loving, great with kids, loves to be held, gives kisses, cuddles, and is super fluffy! She’s around 2 years old, and her fluffy adult fur is just starting to fill out and she is glorious! 🩷 She is great with using a litter box, scratching post, and is playful at times too. She eats both wet food and dry food, but prefers wet food. Her fur doesn’t seem to mat or need much brushing, it’s silky smooth and soft. 🩷 Consider adopting an adult cat, they’re easier than kittens. 😁http://linktr.ee/shannonsfosters

Mama Chasity and her 4 babies from the Devore shelter are safe 🩷 Unfortunately they’re starting to get super sick and can barely breathe. Tiana is still hoping to find a home! She’s a very wonderful and sweet kitty! She gets along great with friendly cats and dogs, she is very gentle, confident and outgoing and she loves attention. She doesn’t mind her paws being touched, and loves belly rubs! She would do well in a home with gentle children, other kitties or even as a single cat. She’s about 2 years old, and she is a playful and active young kitty, but she also doesn’t mind sleeping all day, and she won’t wake you up at night. These babies are so precious. 🥹🥰 Eric is hilarious…if I just look at him with the camera, he wants to go hide, but if I didn’t have my phone out, he’s fine. He’s just camera shy, I get it, me too. 😂 Vince is in-your-face lovable, and Cassie is always right there wanting attention now too, funny because she was the hissiest, sassiest baby just a few weeks ago. These used to be semi-feral kittens who would just hide behind the litter box if I entered the room, and now they are amazingly sweet and lovable kitties waiting for homes. Earlier tonight I picked up five 4 month old kittens from my friend Nanette' Keeler @tnr_south_bay , who were dumped at a colony that she had been helping TNR. The same colony that a bunch of my recent kittens came from. These poor kittens were left there at the feeding station, all were wearing collars and super sweet. At first there were only 4 seen, and the next morning when the feeder went down there to feed the cats, there was another kitten also wearing a collar and the same age, so definitely a sibling. 😞💔 We got all 5 of them secure and safe and they’re with me now and once they get fixed, combo tested, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, de-fleaed, etc they will be available for adoption. 🩷 They are the friendliest babies, for sure they had a home before they were dumped. These 3 bottle babies that I got from my friend Nanette' Keeler @tnr_south_bay 3 weeks ago are such gluttons. 😹 You’d think he has never eaten a day in his life. All 3 are like this lol, overflowing their tummies since I got them. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I always let them eat until they’re done, they’re super healthy and should be ready to wean soon. I don’t force kittens to wean until they want to, I actually don’t mind bottle feeding and I find it easier to bottle feed a little longer than force feeding and monitoring gruel intake. 😻🩷 (they’re about 4 1/2 weeks old) http://linktr.ee/shannonsfosters

Uhh. Excuse me sir… 🤔 What would you do if a cat jumped in and started taking a literal shower with you? 😂 He needed another bath anyways. 😊 [He will still be available for adoption soon, but we are still figuring out his medical issues with his tail still healing, still picking out fleas (both dead and alive), and he still needs to get an actual grooming appointment eventually but I’m waiting until after his tail issues are handled. 😊] (Sorry, my shower is dirty, I know).

Hercules

Hercules ended up at the vet today because we found a strange growth on his side when we were giving him a bath. Of course I was worried that he had something serious going on, but when the dr went to take a sample nothing was coming out. She squeezed it and this solid chunk popped out. It feels and looks like wax, so the dr is pretty certain it was just a cyst with a build up of sebaceous material. They closed up the sac and she said it may eventually fill back up (as I know some cysts do), but that it doesn’t appear to be anything to worry about. 🩷 I also dropped off 2 fecal samples from other cats today. Thanks to the donations we got the other week, I was able to buy two of these cages, plus we had one donated from our wishlist! So now Cane has his own big cage and he can work on building the muscles back in his leg even more now that he is well-along in his healing journey. 😊 If you have space in your home, consider fostering or adopting Cane! He’s super friendly, and he seems to like other friendly cats. I’m sure with his history on the street, if a cat started a fight with him, he would probably not back down though. Drogo is an extremely sweet 5 year old male kitty. He was abandoned in his neighborhood by his owner’s family after his owner passed away. 😢 Drogo is great with other cats and doesn’t mind friendly dogs either. This is the cutest age. 😄 Appear to be fluffy ragdoll babies. Looks like there is one blue point, 2 seal points, and 1 seal point snowshoe. …As I keep telling everyone…they’re not available yet. Not even close. Don’t message me about them, I don’t care right now. I have so many other cats and kittens who ARE available…so, tiny baby kittens who aren’t even eating on their own yet are the least of my concern to find premature homes for. When they’re available, I’ll post that. Right now I’m just trying to keep them alive, not looking for a home this early who may potentially back out or adopt somewhere else before they’re even ready. I’m posting them because I can, and they’re cute, and I spend a lot of time with them because they need extra care.

The babies were sooooo happy to be reunited. I just picked the gray brother up. They found him this morning.
