🚨🚨UPDATE: We still need your help to share these 6 dogs and find them placement!!!!🚨🚨

Last week, we partnered with The Cloud Haven and they provided funding to temporarily place all 6 dogs (Baya, Abby, Rocky, Sancho, Camille, & Muneca) into an amazing boarding facility to get them out of the heat and out of our previous living situation with my ex.

I am sooo grateful for Tish (Cloud Haven) who personally donated a full week of boarding ($57/day/dog =  $2,400), but more funds will be needed to help us make it through this circumstance and to keep these dogs safe — because we can’t do it alone. We are also working with Cloud Haven / Tish on a long term plan we will be sharing soon.

🚨🚨WE URGENTLY NEED TO PLACE THESE 6 DOGS WITH REPUTABLE RESCUES WHO HAVE FOSTER HOMES AVAILABLE.🚨🚨

The Cloud Haven additionally is generously offering a $1,000 sponsorship per dog to any reputable rescues who are able and willing to step up to rescue-to-rescue transfer a dog into their care. These rescues must be pre-approved to receive funding.

🐶 Foster homes are urgently needed!!!
💰 Donations are needed to help cover food, boarding costs, rescue supplies, moving expenses, and other necessities.

🚨URGENT PLACEMENT NEEDED BY MONDAY 8/10/26!!!🚨

EUTHANASIA IS THE OPTION WE ARE NOW FACING. I know people think I am over exaggerating: but animal control told me that they will take them and euthanize upon intake—they are NOT giving my dogs the option to be listed because they are large pitbulls who are dog-selective and reactive and the shelter is beyond max capacity.

It is frustrating that the shelter is not going to give them a chance, they are loving and adoptable dogs!! These are great and deserving souls, they love people and love to play, are so joyful and full of life. They deserve to live a full life with a forever family of their own🫶

Do I allow Animal Control to take them and euthanize them alone and scared in the shelter?

That 2nd option mentioned in the previous reel is no longer an option…so I will have to find another vet and would have to pay for both euthanasia and cremation which I’m guessing will be close to $2k for 6 dogs.

Going this route means I can hold and comfort each dog as they pass. It would be much more peaceful and less stressful than them being taken to the shelter and euthanized alone with a stranger 😭😭

SHARE PLEASE!! This is a last-ditch effort to find any solid solution for any dog that doesn’t result in death.💔

So far the few offers/help has not come through and I cannot rely on any rescue or individual to actually step up. I know it’s just not likely with so many dogs in need. The people who have the space and ability to step up and have no animals or have the space in their homes choose not to help because they assume someone else will. NOPE—THESE DOGS ARE ABOUT TO DIE AND THERE ARE NO OTHER OPTIONS. 💔

Foster home needed for Rocky (aka Richard)! If a longterm foster can be found under Shelter Street Dogs then they may be open and willing to doing a rescue-to-rescue transfer for him to be under their rescue.

Rocky is 95lbs of love and will sit in your lap thinking he’s a chihuahua 😂 Please give him a chance, and something to carry in his mouth, and he will love you forever🥰🥹🙏

🚨WE NEED AN ADOPTER OR RESCUE-TO-RESCUE TRANSFER ASAP FOR MUNECA🐾

Muneca is a 4-year-old Pitbull mix with a huge personality and an even bigger love for life. She’s high-energy, loves to run, play tug, chase toys, dig, and roll in the dirt. 💛

She does best with an experienced handler who understands energetic dogs and can give her the structure, exercise, and backyard she needs to thrive. She’s dog-friendly but has a rough-and-rowdy play style that isn’t a match for every dog.

A separate and rotate routine and only being paired up with other rough playstyle dogs is essential, and also Muni loves to also do her own thing and play with toys, roll around in the dirt, dig, and also loves to be a water dog too with the water hose!!💧

I can provide more detailed behavior and temperament notes to any interested rescues. It would be PHENOMENAL to have a breed-specific pitbull rescue choose to take her on OR help by finding a foster (or if another rescue has a location with space for her).

✨ Spayed, microchipped, and ready for her forever home.

Animal control came and said I need to buy 2 large fans (I’m at Home Depot now and they are $340 - $600 for 2 large fans!)

MikosRescueMission.org/donate to contribute to helping us get these fans!

If I get them set up and send proof, ACO may come back to check today and then allow me to have a bit more time to find placement for the dogs over the next week.

They will be following up soon on how many dogs have been rehomed so please keep sharing them! We just need 6 homes, 6 people to say YES to them, please🙏✨
