River is a one year old Aussie/Blue Heeler in our 3 Week Board and Train Program for basic obedience and a lack of recall. She is under-confident and reactive to pressure. We are focusing on building her confidence with basic commands at home and in public, and helping her figure out how to handle pressure. Happy Friday! Jasper and Max out working on a few things last night. Jasper has come so far in his impulse control, obedience, and confidence in public. Before he started he would drag his owners around, jump on people, his speed of movement was wide open all the time. Now he heels in and off leash, pass humans and dogs without breaking command, he holds all commands around distractions.
Max had a good understanding of commands but in his terms. Now he is willing to follow them when asked. Max had anxiety out in public and now he has confidence to enjoy his time out. Week 1 down can not wait to see this boy continue to grow.

FK9 Trainer Colin and 4.5 month Thor working on heel today out at the park. Thor is in our Super Puppy Academy.
The Super Puppy Academy is 4 weeks of training broken up into 2 week sessions. The first 2 weeks are done on leash. Once Thor completes his first 2 weeks, he will go home and his family will work with him on maintaining his on-leash training.
Thor will return no less than a month later to start his off-leash training. This phase of training consists of introduction to e-collar and more advanced training, including high level distractions.
